A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Florida.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“This place is delightful for blueberry lovers and those seeking a unique outdoor experience. I visited the farm last weekend and was amazed by the simplicity yet beauty of the blueberry fields and the friendliness of the staff. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted with a warm welcome and provided with all the necessary information to make the most of your visit. You sign in and read the rules of the place, and they give you a container to go and collect the blueberries. You can stroll through the rows of bushes, picking the fresh fruits directly from the plant. It's a very rewarding experience and perfect for sharing with family or friends. I went with my daughter, and she had a great time collecting her favorite fruit. Furthermore, the farm is well-maintained, and everything is organized efficiently. They share all the information about availability on their Facebook page. In total, it costs $4 per pound, and if you fill the container, it's $10. They only operate on Saturdays from 8 am to 12 pm, exclusively in June, due to the season. It's very easy to get there, and there is parking available. In total, you spend about 30 to 1 hour walking and collecting. Additionally, the peaceful and relaxed atmosphere allows you to enjoy nature and escape the hustle and bustle of the city. It's good to go early. The owners also sell cucumbers and zucchini that they harvest there. In summary, it was a lovely experience.”

“Most relaxing 1/2 hour on a Saturday am. Blueberries are delicious. Made plant based chocolate frozen yogurt blueberries. Will be making a blueberry pound cake and of course blueberry muffins. My four pups love berries with their breakfast and these did not disappoint. Friendly owners!”

“What a great place for a date! Large enough that you're not crowded by the other folks there but not so large that you're walking miles. We spent an hour, filled two buckets each (~3lbs per bucket) and walked a total of a half mile. I can't wait to go back!”

“They only do blueberry picking here about 4 or 5 weeks out of the year, but I am there every year for at least two or three Saturdays, because they are very tasty blueberries, they last for weeks without molding or going bad, and the price is right.”

“They are the freakin best. Give your kid a bucket and let those kids free to pick blueberries. Daniel and Christy are really working on this place. Lots of hours out into this place to keep it alive. Five stars hands down”

“My experience at Russell's farm was pleasant. I quickly filled 2 buckets with berries. The price was reasonable. My party of 6 had a great time.”
