“Wife and I had so much fun apple and pumpkin picking today at Orchard Valley Farm. The quality and selection were excellent. The customer service was superior to other orchards we have visited. We got there after a rain storm so we had the whole orchard to ourselves. Tim, one of the owners, was our driver and guide and he made the experience interesting and so much fun. Feel like we made a good friendship and we will definitely keep coming back!!”

“Wow - such a delicious stop on my way to Reading PA. BEST ever sourdough pretzels (soft and baked) with so good, super fresh chevre! And the eggs were SO fresh as well as the green/purple asparagus, which was quite literally the best I've ever tasted. I'm still enjoying the Einkorn bag of puffed cereal with the local honey as well as the maple syrup canned peaches! I wish I lived closer. So glad I stopped on my drive.”

I found this beautiful gem and it did not disappoint. The prices were very reasonable, the view was gorgeous, the people were friendly, and the apples were oh so delicious! “We just got back from this farm — it’s a beautiful place, but unfortunately we had a very disappointing experience. We were excited to pick apples, buy pumpkins and flowers — this is our little family fall tradition. Our kids wanted to play at the playground first, so we decided to grab some apple cider and a cookie from the market before starting. When we went to pay with a card, the cashier (who seemed stressed) abruptly said, “Cash or check only.” We hadn’t noticed the “Cash/Checks Only” sign, and I even asked if they accepted Venmo (silly me). The cashier replied again, rudely, “Cash/checks only.” This review isn’t about payment methods — we could have easily driven to an ATM. It’s about kindness and customer service. We really liked the farm itself, but there’s no reason to be rude to customers. I grew up on a farm, and farm folks are usually known for being kind and welcoming. Sadly, we decided to leave and won’t be coming back. We’ll be visiting a different farm next time.”
