Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in California.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“I LOVED this place, first time at this location and honestly I will be back. Staff was super friendly and accommodating since I had two seniors with me. I appreciate their family picnic area for families. We cut cherry's and afterwards had picnic sandwiches at the picnic area. The shaved ice cream on site was a plus! on a side not, families please clean after yourself, my group was picking up water bottles left by others, this isn't fair because this is a super clean place. See you next year Papa's U-Pick Cherries. Following you on Instagram! 😉”

“A delightful experience for anyone who enjoys nature and fresh produce! The cherry farm is well-maintained and spread across a vast area, offering a scenic and peaceful environment. Visitors are provided with the opportunity to handpick high-quality, ripe cherries directly from the trees. The farm is thoughtfully organized, making the picking process enjoyable and easy to explore. Highly recommended for families, nature lovers, and anyone looking to spend a day outdoors surrounded by nature’s sweetness.”

“Wonderful experience of cherry picking ! This was my first time, went with good friends and and lots of fun! This farm is conveniently located , well organized, they provide ladders , buckets for cherry picking! These cherries are delicious, juicy and flavorful. Also, there are benches in the shelter for picnic 😊 Only negative thing is,Port-a potties were very filthy, although grateful they were there.”

“Came early on Memorial Day morning, but most of the cherries left were just the Lapins variety — the deep dark red ones. There were also a small amount of Rainier cherries, the yellow ones.”

“It was very fast tasty and funny! Good place, friendly staff. They have sanitizers, bio toilet cabins, plastic bags and huge cherry orchid. $3.5 lb”
