“Pappys Patch was awesome! We were so lucky, as we got here a little earlier than the scheduled open time because we wanted to make sure we had a spot in line. We spent maybe 30 mins out in the field strawberry picking, and were able to decently fill up our box which we happily shared with family. Despite the field being so large, there was rumor of the berries running out really quickly, so I would recommend getting there a little early to secure a spot. Also a perfect place for a date, or just to bring the kids for a fun weekend outdoors!”

“Had a wonderful time at this place! Well maintained and staff were very friendly. $3 /lb and brought home a whole lot of strawberries! Very sweet and is not far from Orlando. Close to Black Hammock Airboat ride so you can do both on the same day and spend the whole afternoon in the area. Definitely going there again!”

“This place is so great! The strawberries are ripe and sweet! There were plenty of strawberries and parking spots. You will pick a tray go pick the red strawberries that you like. Each small blue tray is about 1lb. Make sure to bring hats, sun blocks, sun glasses, and water. It can be very hot under the Florida sun.”

“We've been coming here for about 30 years. This year the berries are especially sweet & quickly picked. The price is fair & you pick only the best berries. Families with children are welcome. (I also recommend a solo trip to enjoy the sky, birds & fields.) After a short time here it's time for a strawberry feast!”

“This is such a cool place 🍓. When you are from Utah and it is snowing this is such a cool thing to do. We picked about 3 boxes of strawberries (the boxes are not small). This place has big field's of strawberries. The strawberries were very pretty. Had like a red pinkish color.”

“It’s great to bring a friend or your kids out here. Very friendly environment, plenty of strawberries and produce. Follow their FB for business hour because they don’t open from 10am to 10pm as Google Maps suggested.”

“We've been going here for years! The strawberries were big and easy to pick! The girls that work there are so friendly and helpful! We even got to pick oranges last month! Love this place!”

“Really disappointed this year at the lack of coordination for parking and the walkers on the same road as the cars holding all the cars up. Sitting in traffic as soon as I get somewhere kind of takes the fun out of it. A little Guidance from the people who run this place wouldn’t hurt. Other than that the patches are really picked over this year I would say because last year everyone during quarantine figured out that this is the thing that they can do and so they are doing it again this year particularly with their children. My recommendation would be to go during the week take a day off from work and you’ll probably have a better chance of getting giant berries!”
