A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Texas.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Love this place so much. Me and my dad discovered it going down to Nacagdoches last year from all the signs they put up down the highway. Finally convinced ourselves to checkit out, and man was it like a fever dream. They had a whole wall dedicated to various sodas like cherries & cream, radioactive, bazooka, and lots of other fun wacky flavors. Stacks of cotton candy in many flavors (even Dr. Pepper), loads of baked goods, all kinds of flavored chocolates, and freeze dried candies. The pictures i have here arent from inside the store, but the products ive brought back home. Family loved em, and everytime I'm in the in the area, ive gotta get some chocolate and my dad gets his root beers. They also have seasonal peaches and figs (my dad was ecstatic about these). Oh, last thing, the employees are always super sweet. If youre passing through, it is an absolute must to go.”

“They roped us in with their clever billboards, and I'm glad that they did. This is a cute mom and pop convenience store that's packed to the hilt with unexpected goodies. From homemade pies and ice cream to amazingly fresh produce and freeze-dried veggies. There's 100 more things that I'd want to try here, and I can't wait to come back.”

“While Cooper Farms is known for its peach ice cream, its soda selection is its unsung hero. I've never seen so many unique, rare sodas. Lester's Fixins Buffalo Wing, Bob Ross's The Joy of Calm and Red Bull Fig Apple. It's worth the stop and getting a few for that quick gift. Keep it up, Cooper Farms!”

“Really neat place. If you can stop, do it. They have a huge variety of sodas that will make you laugh. The only place I know that sales pecan oil and honey ice cream. Both are really good. Definitely a good stopping place. Akso their fried pies are huge and we'll worth the price.”

“I saw, “Peach Ice Cream” over and over. I was determined to get peach! They have so many amazing flavors! They are real ice cream! I got cheese cake and I was not disappointed! Next time I’m going to try one of those milkshakes!”

“Looks like a little place from the outside, but they have sooo many goodies inside. The baked goods, ice cream, hot and cold drinks( I got the hot chocolate -quality chocolate), and much more. I stopped on a whim.”

“The peach ice cream is absolutely delicious! Sweet, creamy, and full of real fruit flavor. Perfectly refreshing and a must-try treat for anyone who loves fresh, fruity desserts.”

“This little store is definitely worth the stop! They have some throw back candy, and everything Peach flavored here is great! The staff are amazing too!👍👍🥳”
