“I wanted to apply.. The colored lady told me over the phone my salary depended my on my qualification. I asked her if she could tell me per applicant on the unit.... What's the annual salary to be or not be qualified before I drive the long distance... She said she didn't know. I was at work and had all my paperwork needed to apply... That I read via the internet. I get there, and she tells me I can look at your check stub and see you don't qualify. I was so hurt bcuz I wasted my gas and rushed to get there. It was an estimate 25 minute drive. I then told her that's why I asked you that when I was on my lunch break, but you said I had to fill out the application, and that will determine. This was a wasted trip, and I was low on funds from trying to find a place to stay. I felt like she didn't want me to move in. Some people get in these positions and act like they call the shots. It's so sad. I hope this don't happen to anyone else. I have a family of three.... I'm the only one making ends meet... I make around $31,000yr and she said no! You make too much. We are struggling and needed a place to call home since we were new to the area.”

“I’ve really enjoyed living at Groves at Peach Orchard. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and they’re very attentive whenever something is brought to their attention. Maintenance requests are handled quickly, and the community has a nice, comfortable atmosphere. It’s clear that the team here cares about the residents and takes pride in keeping everything running smoothly. Highly recommend!”

“Edited my rating because in the last year the tenants that are moving in have no sense of home ownership. The dumpsters are always nasty with trash sitting around the dumpsters. Teenagers are out of control. Constantly changing maintenance men. We have limited access to amenities. (If you can call them amenities) This is supposed to be a gated community but the gates never worked, so they've taken them down. Lil boy stole an item off my porch. I made a police report, turned it in to the office, yet nothing has been done.This place is transforming into public housing very quickly. Been having problems inside our apartment that's been reported at least three weeks ago. Still no one has checked it out. My family will be leaving this place ASAP. Been here since 2018. Other problems are out here, just too much to list. However best place in Augusta for rent. Oh, and virtually everyone has a dog, so watch ya step cause you might step in dog poop 💩 every other step. Owners please get your place under control. This was a very nice place at first. But now, 👎”

“I’ve been staying here since these apartments open , when i first moved in i had no issues and it was actually peaceful. The first property manager we had was a bit awful (Starla) must racist and a sarcastic individual. People homes were being broke into , The maintenance men and staff were always trying to get over on the tentants, people cars were being vandalized it was awful. Shortly we got a new property manager by the name of rashonda James and she isn’t any better , has a very nasty attitude, they never answer the phones and they never fix anything in a timely manner. My AC Has been out for at least 3 months , they never opened the pool this year , kids are out of control . They are always standing in front of the building smoking and drinking and also playing loud music . We have bullet holes through some of the star cases . They even hired a neighborhood security and yet nothing has change . It really saddens me to see these nice apartments go downhill , it’s literally the projects at this point. Please do better with your future residents 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!”

“Called about their pet policy before filling out an application and wasting my time and whoever answered the phone had an obvious issue with cats, I asked about the deposits for my 2 cats to which she answered she didn’t know if they allow 2, (that’s fine if that’s the policy even though it did not state one pet per their website) and that she would call me back, she never called. You could hear the disgust in the ladies voice from me just mentioning my animals, if you have fur babies I would definitely look else where.”

“i have been here 8 months, and my ac has not worked since i moved in, someone came to check it in the winter time so of course it was cool, but i have called left notes and voicemails and all she can tell me is they only have one maintenance man! i have 4 kids youngest being 4 months and are miserable in this heat, rent is always paid on time, but yet it takes months for them to get anything done!”

“Apartments are nice but they need better office staff. The amenities aren’t open after office hours. Certain office staff walk in apartments without knocking first. It seems like they have started letting any and everyone move in. It’s always loud and no where to park near my apartment”

“The worst place to live. Staff needs no days off as raggedy as the complex is. Only one decent maintenance person and they are over worked. I can’t wait to give them these keys back.”
