Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in New York.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

What visitors say

“So many different kinds of blueberries (14)! With plenty of room to pick to your hearts content on a gentle slope so you can reach the tops of the bushes relatively easily. Excellent experience, Dave is awesome, the prices cannot be beat ($2 per lb, 50% cheaper for vets and elderly). Place is easy to find and opens at 8 am, gallon jugs with ropes offered for pickin' as well as bags for packin'. Don't forget to check out the gift shop and to prepare for workin' in the sun for a sweet deal on the best blueberries!”

“A great spot to pick blueberries! It’s a large patch with bushes so big they’re almost trees. Half of the patch is on a slight hill and it’s a little overgrown in places, but the bushes close to the road are spaced out and on flat ground. In a few places there are other plants growing inside the blueberry bushes, so if you’re bringing little kids make sure you’re watching what they pick. The lady weighing out the berries was super friendly, and it was $2 per pound. Definitely a great spot to spend a few hours!”

“A wonderful and peaceful farm for all to enjoy! An ample picking area allows for you to spread out. There are a dozen or more cultivars to pick from which makes sampling fun! The Pepper Family does a great job of upkeep and making folks feel welcome. They have implemented Covid precautions which are needed but limit the variety of things that they normally provide - bring your own picking containers!”

“Me and my girlfriend are blueberry connoisseurs and we love going to the Peppers blueberry farm. We have gallons of their blueberries spread across our family's freezers. The owner is a really nice guy, we've known him for almost 20 years. Great blueberries at great prices by great people. Highly recommend for delicious berries and a lot of fun.”

“I went for the first time today. Blueberries everywhere!!! Great picking. Friendly hostess. Clean outhouse. Playground with picnic area. Totally fun experience. Will be recommending to all our family and friends:) Thank you for having and sharing this wonderful blueberry farm!”

“The young lady was super kind and helpful, and they have stuff for the kids to do, the fields are well maintained and 2 dollars a pund you can't beat the price!! Highly recommended I'll be back!”

“Had a great family trip! Great price, friendly staff and LOTS of blueberries!”

“These other reviews on here are bullsh**, must be there friends or family leaving them !! Yes, the property is decent and a play area for kids, but we came for blueberries. I messaged before i came to make sure the picking was decent and of course the owner responded promptly "yes". When we finally arrived, in the middle of nowhere on half dirt/ half washed out roads, there was very few berries that were even blue yet. The berries that were blue weren't even close to being ripe. Yes, we went straight to the area that was recommended on the bulletin board and found absolutely nothing worth picking!!! Don't waste the drive out to this pathetic operation that doesn't even know how to trim a blueberry bush !!!!”
