What you can pick

In August, check what’s currently ripe before you go. Seasons below are typical windows for Maine, not a guarantee for this exact farm.

Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Maine.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Payment notes on file: Mastercard. Cash still helps at smaller stands.

What visitors say

“Definitely come to Pineland Farms to pick your strawberries! They are so affordable (~$3/lb) and you can pick a ton so quickly. I went with my parents and we picked 30 lbs of strawberries in 30 minutes! They offer senior discounts on certain days and a discount if you pick more than 12 lbs. The strawberries are huge and delicious; you won't be disappointed. I hope to come here again to pick strawberries and other fresh produce later in the season!”

“Visited Pineland Produce Division today to pick up corn, cucumbers, green beans, and zucchini. Also took a peek at this years pumpkins and they are perfect. Looking forward to buying a few in the next few weeks. Great drive and great people.”

“🫐🌽🌻🥒 We are huge fans of Pineland Farms produce! We stopped by to pick some blueberries and brought home a couple quarts of Maine perfection! When checking out, don't forget to purchase some vegetables. Pineland corn is the best.”

“Pick your own berries and some vegetables at the lowest prices. Great for family outings and very friendly staff.”

“Amazing come out today it's incredible, bountiful, beautiful, tastes like summer!”

“Nice place to try new experience (pick up berries)”

“We've gone blueberry and raspberry picking. This was our first time strawberry picking. We went early enough, so it was hot outside! It was really fun. However, we did have a "Karen" in our group yelling at my teenage daughter and her boyfriend for apparently being in her row! No one was assigned a row. We were assigned an area for everyone! Because of the way she was acting about picking strawberries was childish. We decided to end our picking early because everyone was just trying to have fun and "miss Karen" ruined it for us.”
