Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Maine.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

What visitors say

“This is a wonderfully wholesome activity. They have a corn maze, a sunflower labyrinth, and of course, all the animals. The grounds and animals are clearly well cared for and you can see it all for only 6 bucks! I have great respect for companies who keep admission prices affordable so more families can enjoy the experience. We have such a great time here. You can see it all in a couple hours, but if you want to really take your time, I would allow at least 3. We had a ball going through the maze with strangers, giving clues and hints as we made our way out. Go to the "smokehouse" for tickets. Enjoy!”

“Pineland has beautiful woodlands and fields that are open to the public for year-round outdoor activities. Enjoy 30 kilometers of well-kept trails for biking, walking, trail running, Nordic skiing and snowshoeing. They also offer sledding, ice skating, tennis, and three 18-hole disc golf courses. It was a very quiet pleasant walk in November. I did the South and North loop and Access loop-about 7 miles.”

“Went on a full moon hike in January 2026 and it was delightful. About an hour with 20 min through the wooded area and the rest on the farm roads. Enjoyed a bonus visit to the highland cow barn. Lovely property. Snowshoes were offered. Look forward to going back for sledding and to the adorable cafe/store. My brother had a vegan BLT and loved it.”

“Great family place filled with adventures and Trolley rides on Sundays with a café filled with different sandwiches or wraps and an awesome bakery with Gf choices!! Afterwards, the market helps to do your grocery shopping with huge selections of farm meats and cheeses. Clean bathrooms too! Free Wi-Fi.”

“This place is super cool. They have a lovely little market with great sandwiches (love the Caesar wrap) and a collection of local products. The hiking trails are awesome - I visited for the trail festival, and the event was wonderful. Would definitely recommend!”

“Great place to spend the day! Beautiful scenery, adorable animals, great place to walk around. The little market has great food and some good prices on some items. Definitely worth the visit to take it all in. I will definitely be back!”

“Huge farm so much to do and see. I wasnt able to get a tour, they were sold out but we were able to ride and walk around. There is disc golf there a Cafe and store which was so good, their garden and they also have hiking trails.”

“Fun place! Amazing market, hiking trails, a farm, disc golf, and a beautiful pond with fountain. A gem!”
