Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Oregon.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“We had a wonderful time at your pumpkin farm — the atmosphere was great, the activities were fun, and our family really enjoyed the visit. Thank you for creating such a welcoming place for kids and parents. There is just one safety concern we wanted to point out. On the cow statues (photo attached), there are several metal rods sticking out of the wooden base. Many children love climbing on these figures to take pictures, and we noticed that a child could easily slip or fall on the exposed rods. It looks quite dangerous, especially for toddlers. We wanted to kindly bring this to your attention. Everything else was truly lovely, and we would be happy to come again — we just hope this small safety issue can be fixed so that the experience is even safer for all families. Thank you for your attention and for the great work you do.”

“Had a great time! Recommend getting tickets online for entry. You can buy them at the gate for $15/person. No discount for younger ages. There are activities like hay ride, horse back riding (90lbs max) pumpkin cannon and apple cannon. These all cost extra per person using a token system. Pumpkin prices were not bad but it all added before we got to picking. Definitely a lot of fun with the kiddos with a lot of picture opportunities and play areas. You can pet and felled thr farm animals there. General store was a bit light with not a lot of good options.”

“Really wonderful pumpkin patch. We had so much fun. We spent about four hours exploring and there is still stuff we didn’t get to do! There was a huge variety of pumpkins, squash, and unbelievably beautiful, decorative corn. The staff was super nice. The animals were sweet and it was fun feeding them. The pumpkin donuts were yummy. We all said we would definitely come back.”

“First I want to start off by saying I think this is a good farm for families with kids. There are lots of short activities that are easy to get through with children like 20 minute corn maze, animal barn, and short hayride. The price of admission is a bit much and even though it includes many activities I do think it should include a small cup of food for the animals at the very least. I've been searching for fresh apple cider since Oregon Heritage closed and the cider here was a bit disappointing. It was expensive and very watered down. The donuts were even more disappointing. We went to the donut barn thinking we would get fresh hot donuts that we saw them making behind the counter. Instead we were given cold donuts that tasted like they were day or two old. If you go when it rains beware of tons of wasps in the corn maze. Overall I think there are better farms in the area but if you are a family with kids that can only handle short quick activities I do think this might be a good option despite the price of admission. I can also see this as a good farm for field trips.”

“This is a wonderful pumpkin patch to visit. The cost of admission gives access to plenty of activities that are enjoyable for young and school aged kiddos. I have taken ages 2-8 to this farm and it's always been a great time with more than enough to do. There are lots of animals that enjoy interacting with the kids and a feed bag can be purchased for $1 in the farm store. The donuts are delicious, but they only let you purchase half a dozen per family. The farm is on a hill which makes for a bit of a workout herding kiddos around, but makes up for it with a beautiful view at the top. I do wish some of the activities were more spaced out as it feels like some areas are crowded even though there seems to be plenty of open space. This year the farm store was quite sparse which was a bit of a let down, and they didn't have the big tubs of corn for the kids to play in (maybe for covid safety measures). We still had a great time, kids were content and ready to go when the time came and we didn't purchase any extra activities.”

“We have loooved Plumper Pumpkin Patch for years! Last year we went once and this year once and I don’t think we will return. Our favorite hobbit hole was removed. Prices have consistently gone up in all ways making it much more expensive than past years. I understand having to increase pricing but I think a flat fee like $20 for the farm opportunities with like 1 token to be used towards launching or animal feed your choice would be adequate than from their families could add on more as needed etc it’s just a bummer. We cherish your farm and all our memories. But it doesn’t have such a small town farm vibe anymore and rather a financial production.”

“Used to come here every year with my family since 2003--one of our favorite pumpkin farms (5 stars for the farm & experiences...when it was cheaper we came multiple times through the season)--but I've been priced out & didn't go at all here this year. My kids have grown up so I'm not interested in the activities anymore but I still would love to go and shop in the store & get food too. Please change your set up to allow for those who would simply like to patronize the food & store without having to pay the high admission. I absolutely will be back if it changes--I wanted to offer you that feedback because I do love your farm!”

“Took the grandkids for an Easter egg hunt for $20 each. They got lots of plastic Easter eggs but they were all empty with NO candy which disappointed the children. The kids had another opportunity to get candy at the candy cannon, there were like 30 pieces that came out of the cannon and we again got NO candy because of so many kids. Kids who didn’t get candy from Candy cannon stood in line to only be handed ONE small tootsie roll candy which was so disappointing. But wait, there was a small card inside the candy bag for a free donut. We walked to the store to redeem the card for our free donut and were told the card can only be redeemed in the fall even though they were selling donuts and making them fresh that day. Why even put the cards in there? NOT worth the $20. Hope they figure out a way to make this a better experience.”
