Porter's Orchard

“Searched for an orchard in the area and found this on the map. It was a nice experience, we visited the main building for cider and doughnuts, but they also have apples, candy apples, popcorn kernels, maple syrup, jams, and salsa. I explained it was our first visit and we were greeted by the cashier, who welcomed us and explained the layout of the orchard. During the fall season, they have a corn maze for $6/person and hay rides that take you around the grounds for $1/person. If you don’t take the hay ride you can walk to the maze, it takes about 8-10 min. There is also a play area for kids and 2 animal pens, one for sheep and one for chickens and ducks. Overall, pleasant orchard with fair prices.”

“Small and friendly atmosphere. Helpful staff. Best of all, they are family owned and ready to celebrate their 100th year. Donuts are fresh and cider is amazing. This is not a U-Pick orchard, but bags of fresh apples are available along with a fun selection of apple treats and assorted apple pantry goods. Picnic table pavilion available. Great place to drop by if you're in the area.”

“Had so much fun in the corn maze with the kids. And they enjoyed the pumpkin patch even more. The hay ride is short but perfect with little ones for sure. We absolutely loved the hot donuts and the honeycrisp cider. Kids even enjoyed the play areas and vendors were amazing as well. A little hidden gem for sure. Can't wait to go back next fall.”

“Very easy to get to and they have awesome fresh donuts and cider! Also they have goats and sheep for the kids to pet. They have a corn maze, pick your own pumpkins and apples. You ride the hay ride to get out to the apple and pumpkin fields. Its a great place to have a great time with the family. Fun for all ages!”

“This was very affordable. We were there on a field trip and it felt so professional yet personable. It felt family owned and run. It didnt have a corporate feel or money grabbing. I appreciated the experience for the kids and the adults.”

“Cute little cider mill and orchard! The doughnuts are so fresh, warm, and flavorful. They melt in your mouth. The cider is good, too, and isn't too sweet. They also offer other yummy treats, honey, and jams.”

“Was very disappointed. We have never been here and will not be back. They had junk/trash in piles all over the property. The corn maze was filled with picker plants. My child kept getting poked. The look out tower in the maze was all rotten and not safe for people to be on. The staff was very rude, especially the tractor driver. Nothing is labeled so you have to walk till you find it. There is no pricing signs inside or a list of what they have to offer. They removed a goat pen, so there were large holes in the ground from where the posts were and goat poop all over. The swing set had a slide that was broke in the middle so if anyone put weight on it they would fall to the ground.”
