“I visited Prairie Moon farm for the very first time because the company that I'm affiliated with was having a family event. I guess they allow businesses to come in and do that often, which I think is really nice. My GPS was a little bit off so I'll be updating that but as soon as you cross the overpass it's the big white house on the left side of the street. I didn't realize that was it because I didn't realize it was a house. I went in December so it was a bit cold but we were specifically going to see the reindeer and I was excited! It was the cutest little place there were Christmas trees everywhere and people were having a great time. This business offers so many wonderful amenities, I was surprised at everything that they had to offer. There was a train for all ages that was safe and secure so nobody could fall out, a smaller garage like building where they were selling crafty items and doing some glitter face painting, a fire pit where you can sit down and warm up, a little trailer where they were selling hot cocoa and donuts, that was the cutest by the way! There was also a Big white Barn where you could go in and look at all the amazingly beautiful crafts, soaps, lotions, and home decor that they had for sale. They weren't even expensive either, you would expect some of those items to be more on the expensive side but they were definitely affordable. I ended up getting a hot cocoa sign and a prairie Moon farm coffee mug. The mug was $8.50. We walked over to the entrance to go into the reindeer encounter. As you go in, there are many photo opportunities, an area where the kids can sit down, warm up and do some coloring! After that we went over to say hi to the alpacas, they look very happy and healthy! A couple turkey's crossed our paths as we walked over to the reindeer enclosure. They were absolutely beautiful and they looked so happy and confortable! There was a girl standing by the reindeer enclosure and she was offering us Willow branches to feed the reindeer for free. She was very knowledgeable about the reindeers and talking to us about their antlers. There was a little girl there and she was really concerned because the reindeers antler was bleeding slightly. She gave us reassurance that even though they looked like that, they did not hurt, it was part of the process for when the reindeers drop their antlers. I appreciated so much that she knew about them and was educating us and the people around us about them! This is such a great place I think that it might be somewhere that I add to my itinerary more often. I hear that they have many seasonal opportunities with lots of fun stuff! They take part in Spoon River drive where they have lots of vendors there selling their items, they have plenty of seasonal activities for children and adults too including a big bubble pool in the summer. In the fall, they have a whole pumpkin patch along with seasonal drinks and foods and in the spring they have a flower market. I'm definitely looking forward to driving out here again next season to see what they have to offer!”

“Prairie Moon farm let's see here. What can I say, I can't say enough! This place is a whopping good time not only for adults but kids as well. It has a homie atmosphere with positive smiles and positive buys. They have everything for kids to do and to be happy about. They have a bubble pool, Well that's what it's called in my opinion. It's a huge area where the kids can go and play in sudsy bubbles, It has a petting zoo everywhere you go, It has reindeer that you can go pet and more. It has a train ride that you can go in during the summer and fall. Don't even get me started about Christmas time!! For adults, there are vendors galore. In the fall time, you can get mums and pumpkins and more! They have food vendors, clothing vendors, and more. Then, they have this huge red barn You can walk into and I love that! It's my favorite place!! They have things in there that you can buy that you think should be really expensive but it's not. The fact that they are so cheap and you can buy them is crazy. There's so much that you can do here I can't even post it all. It's for kids and adults alike!!! Come see for yourself!”

“We just left the farm!!! This was our second harvest host experience and it was amazing !! We took a tour of the farm, checked out the flowers, fed animals, and checked out their shop!! Our tour guide was amazing he is excited about their farm and how they are developing their business!! They shared the history of the farm, the work they have done to create what they have, and a future Halloween event!! They spoke mostly of their staff and stated without them they would not be where they are today! We will come back again if our travels take us there.”

“I usually visit every yr during the Spoon River Drive and wanted to see if they did anything for the holiday season. They sure do! The farm is super cute. The outside was decorated beautifully. Inside the buildings various wares are available for purchase. There were Christmas trees you could vote on, a train for children and also a small animal area. The staff is very friendly and the grounds are maintained well. Plenty of parking. They also have "facilities" outside with a hand washing station. Worth a visit, for sure!”

“Absolutely adorable farm! I'm never in town for the fall season but am glad we were able to make time to come out and enjoy their winter festivities. The reindeer were awesome, especially the baby Gris who really enjoyed his head scratches! They have done an awesome job out there and I can't wait to go back next year!”

“Lots of yummy treats and sweets! Donkeys, Alpacas and a Reindeer. You have to pay to see the Reindeer. They also had a foam area for some good clean fun! There is also a train ride for the kids! Choose pumpkins or gander at one of the vendors! Worth the stop!”

“Cute little farm with a nice selection of pumpkins and gourds. We brought our son to help pick a selection and to see the animals and kid friendly area. Unfortunately the duck races were broken and the connect 4 and bowling weren't in the best of condition, though still usable. Bigger set of vendors than I expected, but they were selling basically the same wares you'd find at the riverfront market. The barn store has several fun items to choose from. If you're into seasonal decorations I recommend going inside”
