Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Idaho.
- Check whether this stop is a stand, orchard tour, or full farm experience before you arrive.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“How do you spell nostalgia? What a wonderful little gem! Tucked into a magical place where Washington turns into Idaho, and trains roll by on the rails. So cozy and sweet. This place is so precious to me as I have many memories of picking blueberries with my family as a small child. The farm is abundant with many varieties, and the rows stretch long and wide. Glorious aesthetic. The bushes are so healthy and well-maintained and all the blueberries taste wonderful. Our traditional favorties are the Chandlers and the Spartans. But check out the Bluegolds as well. There is a real depth and complexity to the flavor of the bluegolds- for me it is reminiscent of cardamom. Will definitely return again and again. Friendly staff and great prices. 10/10 reccommend. Visit Red Canoe for your next berrying adventure - you will not be sorry!!!”

“Multiple varieties of blueberries, they provide a bucket with a bag for you. A lot of long rows of bushes, so you probably won't feel crowded. We went early on a Monday morning. A filled bucket weighs between 10 and 11 pounds, right now the price is $4 a pound for berries you pick. They also provide berries they've picked for about a dollar and a half more. I was very pleased with the quality of the berries we picked as well as the pre picked berries. Will go again.”

“We went today to pick berries. The owner came and checked in with us to see how we were. She went the extra mile to describe the process and tell us her favorite type of blueberry. We felt so welcome with a group of kids! The berries were plentiful and easy to pick. They are also delicious! Great prices as well. $2.85 a pound.”

“Love this place. So many varieties of blueberries to choose from. We just "grazed" until we found our favorite variety (Spartan) and then picked a bag full. Great people. Very clean plants and berries. Good per pound price on the u-pick and fair price on the ones that they pick if you just want fresh berries.”

“Blue berry bushes well attended n cared for. Varieties well marked. Easy to pick; mowed area between rows; buckets n plastic bags supplied. The farm had just opened the day before and was ready for pickers. Berries were great and kept well in refrig till I could freeze them. I'd definitely go there again!”
