“We have been a vendor at this event for the past 4 years and absolutely love the venue. The owners and volunteers work their tails off preparing this beautiful lavender ranch every year. It is an amazing event. We love our customers and always ask if they have been here before. Many repeat patrons with so many new ones. “I’ve heard so many good things about it so I had to see for myself. It is beautiful, they do so much for us and they are so very nice.” While in our booth I noticed a lady directly across from us resting peacefully in one of the many chairs provided with the rows of lavender. She was interrupted by a volunteer who was walking around providing snacks. I quickly snapped a pic. WOW! I’m sure the lady fell in love with this magical place. Yes there was an entrance fee and fees for other special things to do. But I’ll tell ya. The venue pays for shuttle buses both days, live entertainment and so much more that the small fee to get in, is so very worth it to offset their expenses. From the minute you step into the venue, you feel as peace. Walk through all the vendor booths, walk the many aisles of lavender and cut your own, watch them make lavender oil, let the kids take a train ride, have lunch from awesome food vendors, or get a lavender beverage and sit under the shade trees listening to live music. Yes I love to write especially when it’s something like this event. If you have not been to this event, you are missing out big time. If you want to know more of our personal experience, please let me know. Thank you Bill and Wendy and the entire volunteer staff. You guys are amazing and are truly love for all you do and give to your community. With all the hate in the world, this event truly shows their love. My wife and I own the Mrs Ladybug craft booth and invite everyone to come on out to the Red Chair Lavender Festival. You won’t be disappointed. Steve Carey.”

“Really charming and welcoming farm. The gal who runs the shop is incredibly sweet and introduced us to all the dogs on the farm. We were able to walk around and see the horses, garden and enjoy the chicken coop and duck. The shop smells wonderful and is full of homemade lotions, soaps, apparel and stickers. We even got to enjoy some lavender ice cream in the serene environment. Love this small family-run business and will be purchasing more products online. *their hand and foot cream is amazing!”

“Owners are welcoming and friendly. The gentle hum of the bees and the sweet lavender aroma is just heavenly, so therapeutic. The fields are massive and there are so many varieties, some I had never heard of. We absolutely love this place.”

“So fun, fragrant & nourishing to the soul! Absolutely loved the music of Smooth Avenue; got in a little dancing & some delicious barbecue! I make it a point to give myself this treat every year! Big fan!”

“Another wonderful annual Idaho tradition! We had a fabulous morning enjoying all the beauty and charm of this beautiful and charming location. Thank you for the hospitality.”

“Photos from back in June 2024💕 We had so much fun! The flowers were beautiful and the staff were so amazing. We can’t wait to go back next year!”

“Beautiful, peaceful, and charming! We bought some Lavender honey and Lavender chocolate. My kiddo had fun playing with the pups!”

“2025 edit: I'm editing this to say that, as much as I adored Red Chair Lavender in the past, I'm beyond disappointed that they chose to align themselves with known bigots and participate in the bigotry festival (Hetero Awesome Fest) in Boise this year. I used to attend RCL's festival almost annually since first attending in 2019 and greatly enjoyed going. However, with the recent turn of events, I can't uphold my previously 5 star review. I sincerely hope RCL chooses to amend their ideology and learn from this. I will not be attending any RCL events going forward nor recommending them anymore until further notice. Original 2019 review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love this place. The lavender festival we attended was a great experience. Food was delicious and adored the lavender additions. Quirky garden area for sitting and eating was so fun to explore! Also, great to learn about the different varieties of lavender plants and how they form and bloom. (Photos from 2019's visit.)”
