A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Michigan.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“This was our first time ever going blueberry picking, and we had an absolute blast at Reenders Blueberry Farm! The entire process was so simple, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful in getting us started. We grabbed our bucket and headed out to the fields where there were rows and rows of beautiful blueberry bushes with two different varieties to choose from. Our little guy had the best time picking his own blueberries, it quickly became one in the bucket and two in his mouth! 😂 And honestly, I can't blame him because these blueberries were incredible. They were juicy, plump, perfectly sweet, and some of the best we've ever had. After picking, we stopped by the market and bakery, which was full of delicious treats and local goodies. We couldn't leave without trying the glazed blueberry donuts, and they were absolutely amazing! The entire experience was affordable, family-friendly, and so much fun. If you're looking for a great summer activity, I can't recommend Reenders Blueberry Farm enough. We'll definitely be making blueberry picking an annual tradition and can't wait to come back!”

“Everything blueberry! Man! They even had blueberry Jalapeño salsa. So this was a pitstop on our way back home. Glad we stopped by. There was a food truck "Dune Buggy" in the parking lot and thier burgers and chicken fingers were excellent! As for the market we bought a bag of ice, blueberry coffee, blueberry soap, two blueberry glazed donuts and half-pound of blueberries 🫐. There are picnic tables and swingsets nearby for kids/adults to play/eat. Plenty of parking.”

“An amazing group of people that take a lot of pride in what they do! I see a lot of blueberry ground in my profession, and Reenders is definitely among some of the best. The store is great with many blueberry themed items and foods. I highly recommend the blueberry and cherry doughnuts. The antique farm machinery is pretty interesting to look at as well!”

“This is one of my favorite stops each year when we head to Michigan. We always end up buying blueberries, as well as jams and even doughnuts. If you like cinnamon, try the apple cinnamon doughnuts--they're my favorite. One of these years, i will buy one of their blueberry bushes and see if I can get it to grow.”

“Nice selection of produce--especially blueberries, of course. Also some nice Michigan souvenirs--puzzles, clothing, etc. They have donuts. This requires a pairing with coffee, of course. For $1.50, I wasn't expecting much, but it was very good coffee. Nice layout, reasonable prices, friendly service.”

“I love picking here. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rows are very roomy, the blueberries are soooooo good! I also love their store, especially the bags of blueberry coffee. I also love that they sell frozen blueberries in the off season.”

“I like picking my own blueberry from here. I have been doing it for a few years now. I picked enough to last me until the next season. Picking your own fruits is quite relaxing. Pick the day that isn't so hot and enjoy!”
