Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in New York.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Great local spot for fresh produce and fruit directly from the farm. The pick your own is a great price and everything is organic in the fields. Nice comfortable open air stand to get things that you can't pick in the fields as well.”
