A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Washington.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Payment notes on file: Mastercard. Cash still helps at smaller stands.

“We’ve been visiting Remlinger Farms at least once every summer, and it’s become one of our favorite family traditions. Our toddler has an absolute blast every time. If you’re visiting on a weekend, I highly recommend arriving right when they open. We did that on our last visit and were able to ride the roller coaster five times in a row without waiting in line! It was the highlight of the day for our little one. As the day goes on, the lines get much longer. One thing I really appreciate is that they offer free admission for moms on Mother’s Day and dads on Father’s Day. It’s a thoughtful perk that makes the visit feel even more special. The food is decent, but if you’re able to, I’d recommend bringing your own lunch or snacks. The biggest downside is the wait. It can take 20–40 minutes just to place your order, followed by another 30 minutes to an hour before your food is ready. That said, my husband really enjoyed the Reuben sandwich, and the fries were surprisingly good. If you think you’ll visit more than two or three times during the season, keep an eye out for their annual pass sale at the beginning of summer. The pass pays for itself pretty quickly and makes it easy to stop by whenever you want. Overall, Remlinger Farms is one of our favorite summer destinations for young kids. The rides are fun, the atmosphere is family-friendly, and it’s a place we look forward to returning to every year.”

“Had a great time here! The U-pick strawberries were $2.50 per pound, which felt very reasonable. We picked about 4–5 pounds and spent around $12 total. It took us roughly 40 minutes to fill a box, and the strawberries were easy to find. It was pretty busy on the weekend, but the farm is spacious enough that it didn’t feel overcrowded. This is a great family-friendly activity and a nice excuse to get outside, enjoy some sunshine, and pick fresh strawberries. Would definitely come back during strawberry season!”

“Wished we knew about this place sooner. The rides are close together making them more accessible. The grounds were clean and beautiful. The store has so many delicious products plus toys. We paid full price, 2 seniors, 2 general & 1 pony ride at the end of August 2025. We were bummed because the food stands were all closed. We wanted to nibble as we watched out grandson & great grandson enjoy the park. Not even ice cream for sale or beverages for sale as we walked.”

“Went to the Psychic Salamander Festival on 9/14. It was my first visit to Remlinger Farms and I was very impressed with it as a music venue. I would definitely go again. The food options were totally sufficient, the music sounded great and the visibility was really up to where you choose to sit. We had GA tickets and had an awesome time.”

“Great place for kids and families. So many activities for various ages. Our kids ranged from 5-10 and had a blast. The food is decent and reasonably priced. Would recommend buying tickets in advance and going when it opens. We spent the day there”

“Oh how we love this place. Came for opening weekend and there was no lines. You guys really hire some nice staff, they're also good about the rides and timing, especially Alex who was on the scrambler today. Can't wait to come back!”

“We visited Remlinger Farms a few weeks ago with our 3-year-old son, and while we had a great time overall, one experience left me extremely shaken. On one of the toddler rides that slowly lifts riders into the air before dropping them, the ride operator secured us but failed to push my son’s lap bar down all the way. There was a large gap between the bar and my toddler, who is very wiggly and easily could have slipped out. I didn’t realize the bar wasn’t properly secured until we were already in the air. I spent the entire ride terrified that my son might fall out because I couldn’t reach him to protect him. To make matters worse, the ride operator’s demeanor was very unprofessional. He came across as arrogant and unnecessarily confrontational. At one point he barked at another family, “You don’t get to come in until I say you can come in,” rather than speaking to them respectfully. His attitude, combined with the failure to properly secure my child, made for a very upsetting experience. We enjoyed many other parts of Remlinger Farms, but I hope management takes ride safety and staff training seriously.”

“This was a great place to visit as it was big but not overwhelming. My grandkids had a great time. Low rating because the closing time on Google says 8 p.m. for Saturdays. We arrived at about 2 o’clock. After getting familiar, taking pictures and getting ready to explore the farm we got in line for the train. I noticed a small paper sign that says we close at 4:30 PM today. 😲 I assumed the sign may have been left up from a previous weekday or other time they had to close early. When the conductor returned, he confirmed that that was the closing time. We were disappointed. It’s a holiday weekend and no other indication that they would be closing early. So we were forced to rush through everything, no time to eat or get the full farm experience. The kids still had fun but we didn’t get the value and experience they deserved.”
