Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Pennsylvania.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“I had great experience to deliver here. They are nice people and allow overnight parking in front of docks if you come early at night. Got unloaded full reefer trailer in an hour. Make sure to check route before coming here, road is closed due to construction near Carlisle and clines church road intersection till company.”
“My first time here and I was blown away how fast and efficient they were.....easy and quick check in, given a choice of dock to back up to, and loaded IMMEDIATELY!! The Lady @ check-in is very friendly and professiona, which is seldom seen in truckin nowadays....⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐..... GREAT job Rice Fruit Company!!! 🙂”
“If you are confused which entrance is the Truck entrance no worries both are, but look on the ground Map to dock or park until you finish checking in! I missed the first entrance and entered the second one and turned left I saw parking line by the office, I was good , nice and fast!”
“I LOVE THIS PLACE! 3 deliveries and 1 pick over 2 years. Never a problem, never much wait, always friendly. They really appreciate drivers. Overnight parking at dock allowed. Check in at 07:00, get PPW right away, open doors, chock tire and leave when light turns back to green.”
