“The Crowgeys that own and operate Richdale Farm are a doing a top notch job with their Fall Festival every year! (Free parking starts your day here). There are so many fun things to do for kids of all ages....corn pit and hay bale maze with small slides for the little ones, water pumping races, farmstyle basketball, APPLE GUN, pumpkin checkers, bowling with pumpkins, barrel train, teeter totters, life size hamster wheel (my grandsons personal fave!) the perfect corn maze, a Combine slide, hay climbs with slides , hayrides and best of all a huge down hill slide from the tip top of the farm field! Pumpkins of all the shapes and colors, Fal mums, all sorts of fancy gourds and ornamental Indian and glass corns for sale that are priced just right! (They don’t sell their pumpkins by weight as I’ve seen at other farms....good news there!) Hand washing stations and hand sanitizer stations are situated throughout and that is well thought out too! Great job Crowgeys and Company, THANK Y’ALL!!!”

“We stayed here for one night via Harvest Host. In a beautiful spot. Good instructions on where to park . They offer electric and water also if needed and allow generators. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. They have sheep, cows, turkeys and chickens, plus lots of turtles in the pond. This is a working farm. They had a lovely litter of barn cats also, which were a joy to watch. They are open to the public in the Fall, which would a great outing for children of all ages and showing your support for local farming.”

“A perfect way to spend fall with your kiddos! There are so many things to do you could easily spend lots of hours there. By the end my kids were all so tired, there is quite a bit of walking to go from one spot to the other so bring a stroller or wagon if you have little ones.”

“We have made this a yearly tradition for awhile now. We've always had a good experience, and I would have given five stars, however, we had a rude encounter with staff and witnessed other rude encounters. It's heartbreaking because we've always had a good time, with no issues. We're disappointed that we had a worse experience this time around...”
