Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Wisconsin.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Rims Edge was amazing! My now fiancé and I got engaged here. The staff was so helpful making sure everything was set up and perfect for our big day! The owners were so accommodating and helpful throughout the process. They made sure everything was perfect for us, couldn't have chosen a better place. The apples and scenery are amazing for photos. We will now be coming back every year to commemorate this time in our lives and show our appreciation to this awesome group!”

“An absolute wonderful experience!! My kids loved it as well as my husband and myself. We all loved the apple cider doughnuts. Can't wait to do this more often!!”

“We visited nearly every weekend during pick-your-own. Lots of varieties to choose from! Plus apple cider and donuts!!! Reasonable prices as well!”

“The apples were amazing and the donuts are to die for. Highly recommend. Smaller trees but same picker”

“We went with our family on Saturday. This place is well kept and the owners are out in the orchard greeting their customers. Good selection of apples and the prices were fair. I would suggest adding a more stroller friendly path up to the orchard. Bring a Bob stroller if you have kids. If you hate big crowds, this place is perfect. Go the extra mile and you get a breathtaking view of the area from the hilltop upon arrival. Suggestions to owner and staff: Please mark "do not pick" on your rows, people don't need to be watched and scolded for not knowing any better.”

“The orchard was quite nice. We got 2 half peck bags of apples easily. The store inside didn't have much for sale, but they had bags of apples, honey, some sweets, apple cider, and apple pie.”

“First, this orchard itself is decently nice. The workers however, can’t say the same. They are very rude. Family and I went there today. Pricing was $22 per peck, and $11 per half peck. Kinda expensive being there are only 3 apple options. The entire time we were there, we got lectured and scolded by an older lady worker on how we had to do everything her way. She was VERY intense and rude to the point where my family was severely uncomfortable. Not to mention she was spying on us the whole time by walking back and forth at the end of the isle staring at us. Absolutely ridiculous. Will NOT return due to the customer service we received. NOT ENJOYABLE. Do better”

“While the prices weren’t bad, the people working were a different story. It was very intense and I felt like I was being watched and scolded by the worker the whole time with my family. There was only 3 choices of apples to chose from, and the workers were watching our every move. Wouldn’t go back next year it was not enjoyable. I was just trying to have a relaxing birthday with my family, was scolded about tieing my Apple bag even, crazy. Prices for Carmel apples were almost 7 bucks!! Don’t go if you don’t want an intense lecture, and to be watched like a hawk.”
