“Unique Huevos Rancheros - and much more. ! Deb and I have watched the construction for months so we were glad to get the chance to see inside and try breakfast. What a very nice experience. Open and airy, busy but peaceful. Great staff and food. Rebecca took our orders at the register and issued us our number.1. No caffeine for Deb so a decaf latte and regular brew for me. She also had a pastry while our meals were prepared. Deb had Roasted Roots Hash - potato, carrot, turnip, 2 fried turmeric eggs and sautéed greens. Excellent in taste and appearance. I had Huevos Rancheros that were unique to me. Over the decades I have eaten this dish at just about every place it’s served in Taos and each restaurant has had its own version. They have ranged from okay to quite good and demonstrated how the same basic ingredients can be crafted with a tweak or two here and there to make a really good meal. What I had today took the basic ingredients and added a creative approach that was mind blowing. The photos help to understand that I hope. I had never had huevos rancheros in a bowl before but when the green chile and the beans have so much liquid the bowl is the only way to go. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the carne adovada was tender and tasty and the tortillas and beans superb. Great taste and just enough spiciness. No salt or pepper on the table. I lean toward salt but always taste first. I know chefs like their food to be prepared and presented so that no added seasoning is needed. This was spot on!! Coffee drinkers be advised that there are no free refills. The per cup price is very reasonable and the cup large so if you like coffee a second cup is worth the cost. Rebecca, who took our orders and payment in the beginning, also cleared our dishes. So she is multitalented at multitasking. Must go back …”

“I am about giddy over this place. I have been here 2 times for breakfast since it has opened six days ago. If you like: Fresh Tasty Healthy Quality This is a beautiful restaurant for you. Pastries are flakey and not overly sweet. Breakfast foods are fresh and flavorful and creative. Coffee is rich and tasty. I can't wait to return.”

“Great relaxing spot, 5 star breakfast burrito, and terrific coffee. Very clean and well attended. Rebecca was a great host! Happy to spend time here and patronize this business. We need more customer service forward businesses like this in town. Thank you to the farmers and staff and owners for their vision and commitment to excellence.”

“There were 3 in our party and we shared /devoured our choices (red lentil daal, tofu harvest bowl, and vitamin ++ salad). We added a delicious peach empanada for the perfect level of sweetness. The service was great (pleasant staff during a busy time) and great ambiance. Wish we lived here. A go to lunch destination for sure.”

“The most amazing farm to table restaurant in Taos! Run by an incredible and kind family local to Taos. The huevos rancheros is the best I’ve had. Could not recommend this beautiful place more!”

“Very nicely rebuilt and finished building. An array of baked goods and pleasant dining area. Cooler with fresh vegetables. They appear to have a teaching/ demonstration kitchen as well.”

“A fantastic new addition to the Taos! We had a wonderful breakfast, and were so impressed with the staff and space.”

“Sweet farm to market store with amazing good and coffee!”
