“We absolutely love Rootbound Farm! We first subscribed four years ago after my partner's parents recommended it to us (they've also been subscribed for years), and we've gotten a full share every season since. The produce is always fresh and tasty, and I love the wide variety of options. We had previously subscribed to another CSA that had one basic "medley" that was usually just corn and tomatoes. Rootbound offers all sorts of veggies and sometimes fruits, and best of all, you get to customize your box each week. Trying new produce makes me get creative with my cooking! On the rare occasions I got something that was bruised or had other issues, they've been super helpful in replacing them. Admittedly it isn't cheap to subscribe for the whole season up front, but it's ultimately a good value for 32 weeks of fresh, local, organic produce, PLUS it's basically an investment to help the farmers stay funded through the season. Rootbound offers a few opportunities throughout the summer to visit their farm, too: we took them up on that once, and it was really neat! Their staff demonstrates great care for the Earth, animals, and their skilled immigrant workers, which we love. We will remain loyal subscribers as long as we can. It's especially convenient for us that our pickup spot is on our own street. Walking a few blocks with our dogs to pick up our farmshare is the highlight of our week!”

“I can’t say enough good things about Rootbound! They are incredibly well run and easy to work with. Customizing our box weekly is such a breeze and they are super flexible with skipping boxes when I will be out of town. The produce is GREAT quality and lasts so much longer than what I was buying at the grocery store before. It is also very well priced, especially if you take advantage of paying for the whole season in advance. I’ve always wanted to participate in a CSA to support local and eat healthier, but I thought the process would be cost prohibitive and complicated. I couldn’t have been more wrong! This CSA has reduced the amount of times I go grocery shopping and improved the variety of my diet. I love it!”

“My husband and I were really impressed by the flavor and freshness of all the vegetables in our CSA box last year. I've never tasted such wonderful salad greens, and the eggs are absolutely delicious. He has already asked me three times since January "When do our farm boxes start up again?" The customization features allow us to try something new or stick to old favorites. We can't wait for our first box! (Kate Wisby)”

“We absolutely love our Rootbound Farm CSA! As busy parents, we find weekly meal-planning is actually EASIER because of our weekly Rootbound CSA box. The fresh farm goods and Rootbound's recommended recipes give us a place to start each week. The quality is unmatched, and the price is very reasonable for what we receive each week. Rootbound also offers events at their farm, which all of us enjoy. Thank you, Rootbound!”

“We’ve had such a great experience with Rootbound Farm. We regularly participate in their vegetables, meat, and eggs CSA, and everything is consistently fresh, high-quality, and full of flavor. You can really tell how much care goes into what they do. Their customer service is just as wonderful—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. It also feels great to support a family-run farm. We highly recommend them!”

“The quality of CSA produce is consistently excellent. Shares are a generous size and it's easy to select produce each week if you want to make any changes to the default. I'm just sad that we can't get the CSA year-round. I've had fun attending events at the farm, it would be great if they hosted more dinners. We had such a good time attending the end of season dinner a few years ago.”

“Rootbound Farm is AMAZING! Really lovely folks, and incredible produce. I love buying from them at the markets, and I really love being in their CSA program. I get a huge variety of really fresh, nutritious produce for a very reasonable price. They have so much flexibility on pickup locations and times as well! They make it easy to get high quality locally grown good!”

“I LOVE my CSA membership with Rootbound Farm more than I can say. It's easy to customize, the farm owners and staff are incredible, and I really know where my food comes from! Being a CSA member helps keep my food budget in line, and saves me so many trips to the store. This will be my 6th season and I can't wait for my greens and maters to come through 🥰”
