A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Tennessee.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

What visitors say

82 reviews on file · showing 8 visitor notes from the listing data.

“Really lovely apple store on a beautiful piece of land. The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable about the different tastes and uses of each variety, and was so sweet to our baby. Most importantly, the apples were delicious! Quite ridiculous that anyone would complain about not being able to touch the apples. They are incredibly fresh, so I appreciate the business ensuring they’re handled as little as possible before being purchased. Highly recommend a visit to support local farmers and businesses.”

“Very nice clean place with good apples. Gentlemen that was running the place was extremely nice and very knowledgeable. And the store smells unbelievably good. Was our first time there but will definitely be back. There are signs up stating to not touch the apples. Anyone complaining about that apparently didn’t see the signs but they were very obvious when we walked in.”

“We have been going here for years to get apples. They have different varies that we love to try. We got the Scarlett Crush and Crimson Crisp, and they were delicious. We usually go about 3 times during the apple season. Thank you for always having the best apples.”

“Had all our favorites and couldn't have a better experience. He will help you find the correct apple's for you. Tart Sweet good for baking ect.”

“Yum…. Fresh delicious apples…. Had a great time and shopped local! Great place to bring your out of town guests for an adventure too!”

“A great place to get local fresh apples. They have many varieties depending on the month.”

“Very disappointed in the apples. I was looking for Honeycrisp, which they didn't have. I get that. I asked which was closest to that flavor and texture. She said Jonagold. Well they are VERY mealy, not juicy and have no tart flavor. Not even close. Yuk! You aren't allowed to pick up apples or sniff them. You literally can't touch them. The bag I bought had 2 bad apples in it. The box of " deer" apples I bought is going to waste because even the deer won't eat them. LOL I'm not sure why you cant touch or sniff stuff? I've never been to an apple place that was so strict with no warmth to customers. Store apples are better then this! I can also pick thru and get what I want at a store. This place is a hard pass. Save your money and go elsewhere.”

“I'll say it is nice when there are local places to get your fruit. I was highly disappointed when I called to ask about chemical sprays though. The man very proudly claimed they use chemical pesticides and fungicides. Clearly too many people do not know much about health these days. Thankfully some are waking up. This is one of the reasons we have so many people with diseases. People need to learn how to get back to farming, the way nature intended, for our healths sake.”
