“I love the selection of produce here. I am not the biggest fan of their ready-made food but their fruits and veggies are always fresh. I am bound to discover a new vegetable that I have never used which makes this an exciting location for anyone who likes to cook. It can be expensive at times, but I love being able to support local, organic farmers. The girls that work here are so nice and are understanding of your budget if you need to take an item out of your cart. They are also very knowledgeable and can provide you with cooking recommendations or describe unfamiliar varieties to you. There are so many fun and colorful veggies here that I cannot help but think “nature’s candy” is a real thing. Besides produce, sang lee also offers potted herbs, veggies, and other plants. Not to mention, they also offer a list of rotating workshops for people who want to discover more about the world plants.”

“An absolute treasure on the North Fork of Long Island.. Sang Lee Farms is a local institution, known for having some of the best quality food, organic produce, and products around.. On our most recent visit we found way more than we were looking for.. A beautiful selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, some delicious baked goods and one of the best bottles of kombucha I’ve purchased in quite a while.. The employees here are kind and knowledgeable, always quick to help you out.. One of our favorite things about Sang Lee?? The picnic tables, benches and playground, all nestled into the shaded areas of the farm, perfectly placed to enjoy some food and a few moments of relaxation before you hit the road.. If you’re on the North Fork and looking for some quality fresh produce, do yourself a favor and stop by Sang Lee Farms..”

“A very nice farm stand/ farmers market on the North Fork, LI. The produce is beautiful and they also have a few local products as well as those made in the farm in their small store including cheeses, crackers, kombucha and other beverages, sauces, pickles (including kimchee). They also sell herb plants and ornamental plants as well. Would be a good stop if you were looking to cook a farm fresh meal.”

“Very nice people and busy stand. My husband and I have stopped in here on our way to and from the ferry for years. Seems like they have really grown and expanded with more processed food offerings. Ingredients in their dips and dressings are not high quality (cheaper oil), but I guess they need to save money when they can. Produce prices are astronomical, as many other reviewers have mentioned. Obviously good for them they can charge what they think people will pay, but I remember the good old days when it was run by the older generation and prices were fair. Wanted to pick some figs and $20 to just get out to pick them was insane. Who would pay that? Solid 4 stars because produce and people are nice and they are out there doing the job of farming that no one does anymore.”
