“A weekend afternoon at Schutt's Apple Mill is the perfect blend of rustic charm and delicious indulgence. From the moment you step onto the property, the scent of fresh apples and warm cider donuts fills the air, setting the stage for a cozy and memorable experience. The mill itself is packed with character—wooden shelves stocked with locally made jams, honey, and, of course, the freshest apples you can find. Whether you're there for a casual stroll through the store or an adventurous apple-picking excursion, Schutt's delivers on its promise of a quintessential autumn afternoon (though it's a delight year-round). The highlight? The famous cider donuts, served warm and dusted with cinnamon sugar. Paired with a cold or hot cup of fresh apple cider, it’s the kind of simple pleasure that makes you want to savor every bite. And if you're lucky enough to visit during peak apple season, the pick-your-own experience adds an extra layer of fun to the visit. Beyond the food, Schutt's has a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere, with a staff that’s knowledgeable and eager to share insights on different apple varieties. It’s the kind of place that invites you to slow down, enjoy the moment, and soak in the best of upstate New York’s agricultural heritage. Whether you're visiting with family, friends, or just looking for a peaceful afternoon to yourself, Schutt's Apple Mill is a local gem worth returning to time and again. 🍏🍩”

“Been going here since I was little. Smells AMAZING just walking into the building. Always has the BEST fried cakes! And other treats. The fried cakes are always warm and ready to buy. This past time i went, I bought 1/2 and 1/2 mix of glazed and cinnamon. I could eat both and be satisfied. The day I went there was also free apple samples which was awesome. Sat outside to eat a fried cake and the apple with a beautiful bunch of flowers across the road to look at. Very family friendly and cute.”

“The fried carrot cakes are a game changer ! Each year I never get lucky enough to preorder these bad boys but this year I did! When I arrived at 9am there was a big line but nothing ever seemed chaotic it was very well organized. If you get a chance to get these carrot cake fried cakes next year, do yourself a favor and get them! I love supporting local family owned, and operated businesses and Schutts is just fantastic!!”

“Nice place. A lot of baked goods, holiday decorations, fresh cider viewing room where you can watch it get made and bottled. Very nice fall and christmas vibe during these two seasons. Unfortunately apple pies were sold out before I got there but not surprised they're popular.”

“Shutt’s Apple Mill is a local favorite! We picked cherries last week — so fresh and fun. Their apple cider is always delicious, and the fry cakes are really good too. Friendly staff and a cozy, welcoming vibe. Love this place!” 🍒🍎🍩👍”

“Can't rave enough about Schutt's! My cousin and I love to come in all year, but especially in apple frost season! So many fun events and pick your own berries/flowers! Such a great place to stop in and relax ❤️”

“Went flower picking butttt the flowers were pretty much all dead or already picked. Ice cream was ok. You do have to cross a high speed 2 lane road. All in all was so so.”
