Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Alabama.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

Everyone was so patient, and kind especially Mr Mark. Whether you like natural herbs or just want to get in touch with nature, this is where you need to go you won't be disappointed.”

“Great experience. Berries were very sweet and Asmera was helpful in showing us which ones to pick. You would want to stay away from the tinted blue ones and select the full dark blue berries. They also have water for sale. I would recommend bringing a hat to avoid being in the sun.”
