“Shelburne Orchards is one of the best experiences to visit in VT! We’ve gone for the last few years (sometimes multiple times a year!) and have never been disappointed. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. We went last weekend and multiple staff members made our experience so special! Nick and Sam were especially helpful with a special treat for the kids and a ride to another part of the orchard (because it was a hot day). The apples, donuts, tractor rides, and Dead Bird Brandy never disappoint. We felt like we were family and can’t wait to go back for another visit! Oh, and the views are breathtaking! Grad a donut, some cider and sit on an old tractor to take it all in!”

“This place was incredible; my standards were beyond met. First, we were picked up in a tractor and literally chauffeured over to the orchard. All of the workers were so incredibly helpful and kind to us. We had a great time picking apples. The store had an adorable array of shops and seating areas. I got these tacos that were absolutely insane. I couldn't find the brand name though. Donuts were good and cider was absolutely incredible. Apples were reasonably priced. Literally had a good experience with every worker. Not to mention the absolutely beautiful.”

“This family run operation offers a wholesome spot to celebrate all things apples. Pick your own, buy some of many varieties, enjoy hot or cold cider and cider donuts. My friend and I planned a long run there for the refreshments. Super clean port a potties with a hand wash station. The grounds are dreamy to stroll through, with lake views and ancient trees. The team are warm and friendly. We enjoyed music playing and even a taco truck. Families played tether ball and basked in the fresh air. A mandatory stop to get in the spirit of Autumn.”

Lot of fun spots to take photos plus great varieties apples to pick from! People were really helpful and friendly and couldn’t help but grab a bag a fresh cider donuts while we were there! “This place means so much to us. Almost 30 years ago, while UVM students, I took my wife on our first date here. Some years later I proposed to her in the rows of apple trees. We had apple crisp at our wedding in Stowe. Even though we live in Colorado now, we try to get back as often as we can. Now I’m flying back with 30lbs of apples to share some VT love with our CO friends. Special place. Amazing apples and overall experience.”
