“My family have been huge fans of Skipper Farms for generations. Stocking up on their coffee is a must whenever we visit the gift shop or see them set up at a festival around town. We purchased a beautiful Christmas tree this past year and were so impressed with how they shake the trees, tie them up, and load them on the vehicles for you. And we always enjoy going to the many unique events they have throughout the year.”

“I highly recommend getting your Christmas tree here! The young men who handed us a saw, hauled our tree to get processed, and loaded it on the car were very kind and helpful. The young lady and gentleman in the shop were very nice and helpful. Overall, we loved the environment and loved our tree. Our 8’ tree was less than $100 (you can’t beat that). We will go back for as long as they sell trees.”

“I highly recommend Skipper Family Farms. It was like we were walking into a Christmas Movie! They have many photo opportunities, the Grinch, hayrides, a s'mores station and a few animals. Trees are reasonably priced compared to lot locations and farmers markets and you can't get as fresh as fresh cut! Also, they are not that for out. Just off of Houston Road a skip from Hartley Bridge Road.”

“I went with a group during December and we all had a great time. The kids were crazy about the corn pit and faux snowball "fight" arena. The free hayride was a nice way to see the lands while simply enjoying a hayride. There were a lot of trees and local goods to choose from. The hot chocolate was a hit, too!”

“Will definitely be visiting again soon! They are extremely family oriented and have the funnest events year round! The owners and the workers are so friendly and make the experience 100X better! They also have the best chocolate covered pecans.”

“The fall craft show fund raiser for Jay’s Hope is ideal in every way. Great place for kids and adults. The Christmas tree farm is a wonderful place for families and the Christmas tree lighting is a perfect way to usher in the season.”

“A very quaint and lovely place! We went twice last year. One time was for the lighting of their Christmas tree. We came upon the bus the Georgia Farm Bureau passport program. Will definitely be back this year!”

“I don't often leave reviews but I felt I needed to. This was my first time coming to the festival. I arrived early to meet a friend. The lady that greeted me was very rude about not opening the gates till 5. I can understand that but being the first time I thought there would be a place to park and wait for the gates to open. Maybe she had a stressful day. I don't know. What I do know is that I didn't deserve the tone in her voice when she spoke to me. She asked me if I was waiting on a lady with a bunch of kids in the car. She had sent them away. Is this not a family event? Maybe these people didn't know where and when to park. Kindness goes along way.”
