A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in North Carolina.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.

“We loved it! We took our 11 month old here and she had so much to look at! They provided wagons for us so she got to ride in the wagon while looking at pumpkins. They had so many pumpkins! Ranging from $5-$30. We got the pumpkin custard and it was delicious. We’ll be coming back for the Christmas trees and the Pizza. They also had several playground options for small kids and bigger kids. The sunflower maze was beautiful. I had no idea sunflowers were so big up close.”

“I was looking for a pumpkin patch where my boys could go out in the field and pick their pumpkin, so I was very happy to find this place! There were wagons to use to haul the pumpkins in. After we purchased our pumpkins, we played on the playground for a bit and then went to cool down with Whit's frozen custard and giant ice pops! The pumpkins cost more than the grocery store, but the experience was worth it and I'm glad we were able to support a small business!”

“Literally, the BEST pumpkin patch around! They have a really good-sized pumpkin patch along with slides and an area for sunflowers. The pumpkins are reasonably priced for a real patch and they have custard too. There are several swing sets and a “super huge slide” as my kids say. A definitely must if you have kids. There are some religious undertones, but that’s their right to do, just an FYI though. Everybody there is super nice, employees and customers alike!”

“My nugget had a wonderful time. There’s something fun for all ages, but especially fun for the littles. My daughter is 18 months. Small pumpkin patch and field of sunflowers. There is a nice selection of unique pumpkins in a variety of sizes, shapes and colors. Also a few refreshments to keep you hydrated. I highly recommend!”

“Great local pumpkin patch. Lots of activities for the smaller children. A very huge area to pick pumpkins. They also have a sunflower patch as well. They had Whit’s frozen custard on site for purchase. Great inexpensive way to spend time with family. Definitely recommend. We had a great time.”

“What a nice family place! Just met with some friends and toddlers and it was a great place to play. Beautiful trees and wreaths. No entry fee and they gave out cider and hot chocolate for free. So kind although we would absolutely pay for it if we could - let us support you!”

“This is such a pretty farm to visit for fall pumpkins. They have a beautiful variety of pumpkins to choose from, snacks for purchase and areas to sit. They also have a playground and activities for the kids.”

“There used to be a cute, fall-themed house to take selfies in front of. That's been replaced entirely with Bible quotes. Everywhere you turn there's a sign about God and/or Jesus. It didn't use to be this bad. At some point, however, it changed from a friendly, welcoming atmosphere with a touch of Christianity into full-fledged proselytism. Look, I'm all for First Amendment rights which is why I'll be exercising my own and choose not to come here for pumpkin picking in the future.”
