Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Michigan.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“5th year in a row taking the kids to Spooky Trails. The kids & their friends seriously love it! Previous years its been really really muddy...not their fault....October is a typically a cold, wet month. This season has been perfect though. Chilly but dry. Yay! The Zombie Ride was great, CornField was scarier than ever and we all LOVED the addition of the Hay Maze (just make it longer). All in all, such a fun Halloween tradition. Thanks for keeping it fun here in Michigan when everything else is such a drag in 2020. You guys are awesome!”

“Great family activity!! Kids had a blast. They really enjoyed the Zombie Hunt Hayride. The separate shooting activity with Zombie targets and apples was great for us all to do together as well. Staff was friendly and made it a great experience. The donguts were amazing. The concessions were very reasonably priced. Overall they are reasonably priced. Definitely see this being a yearly plan to kick off our spooky season!”

“Fire off some apples with the apple cannon!. Reasonably priced. Entry price includes corn maze hay ride to pumpkin patch and a pumpkin. Grabbed 3 dozen fresh doughnuts and a gallon of apple cider on the way out. Kids loved the corn maze”

“We didn't get to do the haunted hayride because we got there too late but the zombie hunt and the cornfield were great! Adam was super friendly and helpful since it was our first time there. 10/10 we will go again.”

“Such a fun activity to do with your family! Their homemade donuts were delicious, fresh and sweet. The haunted corn maze was also very fun, highly recommend for families looking for a festive experience.”

“The staff here is top notch. Super nice people who make the whole experience more enjoyable. They go to great lengths to make sure you are having a good (safe) time. Hard to go wrong there! It's clean, and also well thought out. The ONLY reason I didn't give 5 stars is because this year, they seemed under staffed with zombies when compared to previous years. This is always a must do on our fall festivities list! OH! Do NOT skip the apple cannon. Those things are a "blast"!👌”

“If you're looking for some Halloween fun that is family friendly and a little spooky check them out. Options include two different hayrides, one with Lazer tag like guns and another with a music light show and spooks. They also have large potato guns and treats.”
