“Great experience, I just wish it could of lasted longer. The bakery items were amazing, yummy apple slushies, fun tractor ride, and yummy apples. My only complaint is I bought a vase to cut flowers to take home in, unknowingly my friend had cut some flowers while I did and put them in her cup from a beverage we had earlier, I went to purchase a sweatshirt before leaving and the lady kept shoving a vase on the counter repeatedly telling her to go to the next register to pay for it if she wanted the flowers she cut. I went to explain we didn't know and she just kept saying if you want to keep the flowers they have to fit in a vase. My friend did not have to money so I purchased the vase to solve the issue.”

“We visited Stepp's Hillcrest Orchard at the end of October with my family, and it was an amazing fall experience. The apple picking was fun and well organized, with plenty of great apples to choose from and beautiful views all around. The absolute highlight was the apple cannon — a must-try and so much fun for both kids and adults. It really made the visit memorable and added something unique you don’t see everywhere. The orchard had a great family-friendly atmosphere, friendly staff, and that classic fall vibe you hope for. It was the perfect way to spend a day together, and we’d absolutely come back next season.”

“A great place to visit. This was our first visit to Stepp’s Hillcrest Orchard. As we approached the entrance to the main building, one of the owners was out front greeting everyone. He spoke to us as we approached. He didn’t hesitate telling us all about the orchard and its many activities. There are four separate orchards to walk to and pick up to eight different varieties of apples. The orchard has a wagon ride to provide a guided tour. The main building has a gift shop and bakery. Everyone was extremely nice. I will definitely return to this orchard.”

“Our favorite apple orchard in Hendersonville. We got 2 large boxes (1 bushel total) to pick 4 different varieties. All had very distinctive flavors & textures, so good. We also bought a gallon of apple cider, so fresh & sweet. The workers were very friendly and helpful. Clean restroom facilities & plenty of parking. Pricing is consistent with other orchards. 2 thumbs up for Stepp’s.”

“Was our first time here and we loved it. They have different varieties of apples to pick like Cameo, granny Smith, red delicious, Rome, etc. Its a good activity to do with family and friends. In addition they also have freshly prepared apple snacks like donuts and stuff which also taste great. Get yourself a basket and go apple picking here.”
