What visitors say

“We have been shopping at Stump for years now. They are the best local farm around. Their produce quality is unmatched. I’ve found myself trying new foods, particularly new greens, because they make shopping local fun, affordable, and accessible. Their pickles are the absolute only pickles we consume and their mushroom creations are so tasty and healthy. They’re curating something really unique and special at the Local Table and we drive from Asheville to experience it and shop around for our weekly produce, eggs, treats, and more. There’s nothing similar even in Asheville. I can’t wait to watch this farm continue to evolve and grow. The cherry on top is that the owners are just wonderful humans. If you’ve never visited, you must head on over!”

“THEY'RE BACK and now they have a restaurant!! incredible mushrooms, spices, salsa, soup, pickled veg, fresh greens, tea, body products, sourdough, gifts, they're going to do a CSA again, they're making kombucha...before the hurricane i was able to completely stop buying produce from ingles, i could afford more expensive pantry items at the co-op because stump farms had such fresh and affordable vegetables (my family is vegetarian). the owners are wonderful people, obviously committed to this vision of healthy local foodways, and seeing their comeback and how the community rallied around them after helene has restored some of my faith in humanity. i can't wait to see what they do next!! thank you stump farms!! <3 <3 <3”

“We had breakfast today at this wonderful establishment. The owners are the nicest couple. They bounced back from hurricane Helene and have given our town a wonderful place to have breakfast and lunch, as we'll as, stocking up on locally grown produce. The mushrooms are amazing!!! They have a full hydroponic grow system, so produce is so fresh!!!We also took home some delicious soups they created. Can't wait to go back for more!”

“We visited stump farms as part of a multi-Farm tour, and it was amazing! We learned so much. We are incredibly impressed by how much nutrient-dense food these folks coax out of their small urban space! Mushrooms and microgreens and more. Very inspiring. If you live nearby, make this a part of your grocery routine.”

“We love having this local business offer year round locally grown produce! Great products, great people. We are thankful to have this business in Hendersonville!”

“Food was really good! Great coffee! The mushrooms are the freshest that I have ever bought! The dill pickles are my new favorite pickles!”

“amazing food and fantastic products. absolutely loved the atmosphere and the service was great 😊”

“Friendly service. The food is visually well presented. The falafel were tasty. When prepping and serving vegetarian food, the right seasoning is key. Here, some of the food is bland; especially the potatoes and eggs. The veggie breakfast bowl was inundated with an orange sauce that overtook the dish’s blended flavors. The rice paper wrap for the savory pastry tasted old. Also, this menu is begging for: Liquid pour over cheeses= Queso, Habanero, etc., even with vegetarian mix ins. A few burritos would be nice to join the 15 taco dishes on the menu. I understand this farm fought back from Hurricane Helene. I am glad. Perhaps it is time to broaden the menu.”
