Sunny Slope Orchard

“Sunny slope is a great option as a fall stop. We always enjoy looking at the many varieties of apples they offer and sample a few for free. They sell seconds in big bags which can be used for apple pies and apple butter. There is a nice little store inside where they sell their apple butter and apple BBQ sauce, as well as other bulk food items. They offer veggies as well that are seasonally sold. They have delicious apple cider they make and have a handful of samples in the store. A must for us each fall!”

“The items are pricey. Maybe double the cost of a grocery store but it's worth it, because of the size and the natural picking and stocking of the fruit and vegetables. The tomatoes, bell peppers and potatoes are absolutely huge. We got fresh picked garlic, a huge fresh picked onion, still with the stem on it! We got potatoes, bell peppers, tomatoes, wonderful dark cherries, and great size zucchini! Also they have Farmer's cheese! And a great selection of deli and fudge. Great selections!”

“Such a great find! Tons of fresh fruits, deli, pastries galore! You can also pick your own apples straight from the hundreds of trees! This was the favorite part for my kids! Many different kinds of apples as well! We were also able to watch them make kettle corn which was pretty neat.”

“I've only been here twice after moving from NC last year. I've always supported farm stands there and now that I'm here in OH, I plan on discovering more here. But 5 stars for hard working staff and the sugar free applesauce, apple butter and the gallon apple cider vinegar. 😋”

“Wow! Really cool orchard! Produce is excellent. Cabbage are HUGE! Pumpkins, apples and much much more available. There is a sling shot for apples and pumpkins for kids. Cost is $1.00 fun.”

“Best farm for purchasing fresh produce. Fruits and vegetable are always good quality, prices are reasonable. Great atmosphere. They have the best 🍑 peaches around.”

“Have been patronizing this business for 50 years and have always enjoyed the establishment with all of the excellent deli, baked goods, and of course apples. Best apple cider around available at a reasonable price. Fall is a special time here with all of the harvest offerings in the country setting. Great place to stop while enjoying the rest of the areas offerings like Amish Country. That being said I was a bit disappointed this year with the apples and hence the 4 and not 5 star rating. The apples were not as fresh as usual being more like those from the grocery store post season...not crisp but ok. Always look forward to a fresh/crisp red delicious apple here in the fall.....but not this year. Will try again to see if things improve.”

“While I'm a little partial to this place, not much has changed since the 80's. Has a country feel. Clean. Staff accommodated customers that wanted to pick strawberries. Even tho close to closing time. So we joined in, great experience for young and old,”
