“From day 1 Nicole at Suydam Farms did a wonderful and thoughtful job to give us a tour of the farm, communicate consistantly and answer a bunch of the many questions we had throughout the year leading up to our wedding day. Her great recommendations for vendors, as well as her quick response put us at ease with the whole planning process. Our final walkthrough a month leading up was really special as it allowed us to envision our wedding so close and really piece everything together. Even with the days leading up to our wedding and having to make the call for an indoor ceremony in the barn due to cold, rainy weather, Ryck and Tim did an exceptional job reassuring us our day would be beautiful and even offered us up some wonderful backdrop ideas, including 2 historical tractors (we loved hearing about the history of them). The whole weekend is your own which allowed us to not stress another wedding the next day for cleanup, have creative freedom to decorate, and also give us time to walkthrough for rehearsal the night before. Nicole was amazing to help with the last few details the day of, like beautifully decorating their ceremony hexagon backdrop and placing out flowers & favors on tables. She also does an exceptional job to make sure things go smoothly from communicating with vendors during the day, preparing guests to their seat, and cleanup. She even helped fluff out the back of my dress and lay out my veil right before going down the aisle with my dad! Truly meant a lot! If you are looking for a unique, beautiful venue and willing to put in the work (we brought in our own vendors and decor/setup), it truly makes for a one-of-a-kind experience! So many of our guests said how much they loved the barn and greenhouse. Even with the cold, pouring rain, walking into the rustic barn followed by the warm greenhouse filled with sparkling lights set the tone and created a magical touch to the day. Everyone loved the warm, rustic ambiance. Truly the whole team did such a wonderful job to help make our dream wedding come to life.”

“As a guest attending a wedding here it was straight up magical. The barn for the ceremony protected us from rain as did the greenhouse for the reception and boy did the greenhouse look great at night with all the lights! In terms of space there was plenty for dancing, sitting, eating, a buffet - really everything for about 200 people, but there is one issue I wish they’d fix: accessibility. Most parking is on grass (there is plenty of it) and there is a limited gravel lot closest to the greenhouse. This is great and the main door entrances all slide open, but the bathrooms were a separate trailer brought in with 3 rooms. None of the bathrooms were handicap accessible, all 3 required multiple steps to get into them, none had buttons to keep the doors open, and they were so tight getting a second person in to assist say a grandparents was close to not doable. There were also no ramps anywhere I saw on property including at the bathroom trailer. Given how weddings typically have older family members and how all venues should adhere to basic standards for handicapped individuals I’d recommend the following improvements: better bathrooms that are wheelchair accessible, add ramps, and add a few marked handicapped parking spaces in the gravel lot. Past that all everything was excellent!”

“I had my wedding in the Greenhouse at Suydam's Farms in May 2023. I cannot put into words how absolutely perfect this venue was for us. The Greenhouse is such an extraordinary structure as is, but when you add your own touches it really becomes so special. We also had access to the area around the greenhouse as well and our guest loved spending time there. We rented out an ice cream truck, and we really tried to utilize all the space they provided. The parking lot is pretty spacious, and we did hire our own valet to help our guest. We worked with Nicole and she was such a gem and extremely helpful in answering questions and throughout the whole process. I would recommend having an event here. Again an absolute beauty! Thank you to Nicole and everyone at Suydam Farms”

“The venue of our dream wedding. Just stop looking - you’ve found it. From the pond to the greenhouse to the chickens and cows and barns - it is perfect. Nicole and her family/everyone who works at the farm is nothing short of incredible. As we were setting up Ryke (name is definitely spelled wrong but you know who you are!!) came up and literally helped us plan every little thing. He threw in great ideas and even managed a few wind related crises haha. Nicole from start to finish was so involved and kind and flexible. She is so sweet and genuine. I can’t say enough nice things. Thank you so much for our dream wedding!!”

“If you’re looking for a perfect place to host your event I would strongly suggest looking no further! You get beautiful views, a wonderful venue, and the warmest - most helpful staff. Nicole and her crew are the best. I have been part of 2 events at the farm and each time I leave there my experience is always amazing. Highly recommended!!”

She always managed to assure us that everything we thought about or was concerned with would indeed be taken care of or addressed in time for our event. Highly recommend Suydam Farm for any event.”
