“We’ve been to this farm before a couple years ago but now they’ve added a large play area that made it so much more fun! It’s affordable, well maintained, and the staff is very nice. They even have multiple wagons around the grounds for toddlers to use while looking at the animals. The horses were so sweet! Coming right over and allowing the girls to pet them!! We have two 5 year olds that absolutely love it and we’re able to play in and on everything there, our 10 year old also had a great time, but the small ride on kids toys that are all over and little play shed is best for smaller children. The play area ( including a natural jungle gym and large sand area) and of course the animals are great for all ages! We’ll definitely be back! *just a heads up this is not a petting or feeding zoo. However the goats, horses, ponys, and mule all came right over to the fence when we walked up!! They’re very friendly animals!”

“The only think I regnet is not finding this place earlier! It’s absolutely beautiful. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was not crowded at all. Plenty of parking and buying a ticket online will save you $1. kids under 2 are free! They have so much to explore - a little beach area, a running water creek to play in, a playground, farm animals, a little shop, options to buy lemonade and coffee. Wagons you can use to stroll around. We really enjoyed it! Make sure to bring sunscreen since there is minimal shade and a pair of change clothes - it will get wet and muddy! We will definitely come back!! Thank you!”

“It's toddler heaven! It's also fun for all ages :) The animals and facilities are all taken care of well and it is a peaceful setting to relax and have fun. The pizza was good ($15 for a big cheese) and they have a treat stand on the property. We definitely spent a couple hours here on both Sat and Sun. I highly recommend Sweetwater Farms!”

“Me and my 2 young children (6 & 3) came here for the first time and it was so much fun! It wasn't that busy for a Saturday and they have a ton of activities for the kids! They even have pizza, lemonade, Popsicles, and a gift shop. We will definitely be back!”

“Pretty cool spot with a creek, outdoor dirt mound with a tunnel and sand pit with toys. They also have a few different animals here, goats, pigs, ponies, and horses. Ran out of time but the gift store has some pretty cool things. They also have a food cart.”

“Amazing place to go with toddlers! They’ll have an awesome time for sure! The farm is super clean and has a ton for different areas: a lot of shade and toys. The animals are beautiful and it’s so close to central CLT. Highly recommend to visit this place 💕”

“Great place to bring the family. Super affordable for my family of five, we had a great time petting the animals and then the kids got out some energy playing on several of the areas for kids. Definitely recommend”

“This is the absolute worst attraction that Charlotte has to offer. Don’t waste your money, your time, or your gas. Even if you live across the street don’t go. From the $7 entry fee for absolutely nothing. All of the animals are locked away from the public all day. There’s nothing safe for the minors to do. They advertise all these parks but the playgrounds really play areas are rusted and not well kept. There’s just an overpriced juice stand and a store front that doesn’t offer much worth buying. And per the owners verbiage “ This is not a strawberry patch she can’t help how you found them, they stopped growing strawberries four years ago! “ If I could offer 0 stars I would and this is coming from a customer that still supported the business and didn’t receive any amenity advertised that I came for ( strawberry patch and animal petting ). The animals were all caged and lethargic not motivated or willing to engage. The only helpful insight given was from the small girl who told us not to go to the stables because the horses were all asleep and the one up is mean, bites and kicks.”
