Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Wyoming.

  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.

“We LOVED it. We got there at 6pm, right when they opened, so we were some of the first people through so we had first access to photo ops and there were no lines. The staff kept telling us to come back in the dark too because it's even prettier so we went and ate some food (there's a great variety of choices!!) then went back through. There were a lot more people to deal with but the staff was right, it was even cooler in the dark. The prices were really good too. We spent 2 hours there for $34 for 2 of us. We were very impressed and very happy with the prices, the timing, the staff, the weather, and the overall setup and atmosphere.”

“Such a magical Halloween night! We had such a great time at The Great Pumpkin Trail! The glowing lights and displays were absolutely beautiful…it really felt like stepping into a Halloween wonderland. There were tons of fun areas to explore, great photo spots, and even some friendly actors that made the experience extra special. My kid especially loved the section where you can step on the lights to change the colors — such a cool idea! You can tell a lot of creativity and heart went into creating such an immersive experience. Huge thanks to Paige and the team for making it a truly magical night!”

“Loved this place! Went for the first time and it was so much fun definitely plan 1. 5-2 hours history to do a walk through but if you are planning to see every single pumpkin and enjoy every thing I would say 3 hours! So worth the price it was so fun and highly recommend to go with friends or family and group size dose not matter! And they have food trucks and adult drinks to hot coco is there so no worries for that!”

“Budget friendly AND super fun experience for the whole family!!! Affordable tickets and free parking?!? Count us in. Honestly, we could’ve spent hours at this event, it truly felt like walking right in to a Halloween enchanted town! Our toddler LOVED the lights and interactions! Plus the characters were so nice and friendly and engaging!! I cannot wait to go back next year!!”

“Second time coming and it really is worth it! So many photo ops, fun pumpkins, the rainbow road and Eiffel Tower are so neat to see. Fun things for the kids to do when they’re done with the trail - see and pet some animals, play in a huge corn bin, zip line, get some food, sit by a fire, and go on a haunted hayride if you dare.”

“You can come early and enjoy the food trucks, drinks, music, general gift store, and get great family pics at all the photo opp areas before you even enter the trail. The trail is spread out to allow plenty of room so you don’t feel crammed like other pumpkin trails. This will easily become an annual family tradition.”

“Grateful for all ages. We went on a Sunday night. The crowds weren't to large, which was nice. Food selection is great unless you are gluten free. The lights and pumkings were amazing. The fog section is a trip, in a good way! Im definitely making this an annual tradition.”

“Absolutely gorgeous! Enchanting and wonderful for the family 🎃 We went on a Thursday night in Oct '24. Unfortunately, the lines for both The Dead End Hayride and The Great Pumpkin Trail were the same line. Hopefully the lines can be separated in the future. Please note that the trail itself is at least 2 miles long without resting. At the time of this post, there aren't any seating areas nor benches once you enter the trail. The trail is mainly dusty gravel, shifty beneath your feet. I suggest wearing comfortable walking shoes! As for accessibility, the trail legally is accessible. However, you may need specific wheels. The standard wheel may have some difficulty driving down the trail. Overall, this has become our annual Autumn must-do! 🍁”
