“We got married here in June, and I can’t say enough good things about this venue and their team. Our wedding day ended up being record-breaking hot (95 degrees on June 8th in Hood River—about 20 degrees above average), and the staff handled it with so much care and thoughtfulness. Since it’s an entirely outdoor venue, they went above and beyond to keep guests comfortable with fans, ice packs, cold drinks, and extra shade throughout the day. One huge lifesaver was the bride’s getting-ready suite, which does have air conditioning (thank god). We reserved it as a cool-down space for me throughout the day and for guests with young kids who needed a break from the heat, and it made a world of difference. The staff was incredible from start to finish—setting up décor beautifully, checking in with me on timing, and being genuinely pleasant and helpful to our guests. I truly didn’t have to think about a thing on the day of, which is exactly what you hope for as a bride who planned her own wedding. The catering team also knocked it out of the park. The food and drinks were amazing, and we had multiple guests comment on how good the food was—which feels rare for a wedding and says a lot. And of course, the venue itself is stunning. We lucked out with a crystal-clear day and were treated to views of both Mount Hood and Mount Adams, along with their beautifully maintained gardens. While I would have loved a slightly later date to catch even more blooms, the grounds were immaculate and we still enjoyed plenty of early flowers. We’re so grateful for the care, professionalism, and kindness of this entire team—and receiving behind-the-scenes footage from our day afterward was such a thoughtful, unexpected touch. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.”

“Leah and Keaton’s wedding at The Orchard in Hood River was honestly such a dream to photograph. If you’ve never been to this venue, it’s tucked right into the Columbia River Gorge with the most insane views of Mt. Hood and rows of fruit trees that feel straight out of a movie. As a local PNW wedding photographer, I couldn’t have asked for a better backdrop to capture their big day. What I love about The Orchard is how it has so many different vibes all in one space. You get those wide-open mountain views for the ceremony, dreamy orchard rows that are perfect when the sun dips down for golden hour photos, and then the open-air reception area that turns into the ultimate party spot once the dancing starts. Leah and Keaton’s wedding had all of that—big laughs, so much joy, and a whole lot of fun energy that made photographing it feel effortless. One of my favorite parts was sneaking the two of them away during sunset for some photos with their vintage car rental. The way the light pours in between the trees is just magic, and it gave them a little breather before heading back to dance the night away with all their people. Those moments always end up being some of my favorites. If you’re searching for a Hood River wedding venue that feels both gorgeous and laid-back, The Orchard should definitely be on your list. And if you’re looking for a Hood River wedding photographer who’s down to capture all the candid, fun, and emotional parts of your day—I’d love to be there. Leah and Keaton’s wedding was one I’ll never forget, and I’m so excited to share their photos with you below.”

“The Orchard Hood River was a dream! The views and the gardens created the most gorgeous backdrop for our wedding day, and SO many of our guests have said it's the most beautiful venue they had ever been to. Choosing The Orchard was hands down the best choice we made for our wedding. What really makes The Orchard stand out (aside from it being stunning) is the food. Celilo Catering provides not just dinner for your wedding, but an experience. You can smell the food being cooked in the open kitchen, you can see the garden where it came from, and when it's time to eat, family style dining created the feeling of an intimate dinner party with all your people. And, of course, it was all delicious! Our guests LOVED it. The furniture, rentals and bridal suite are all classic and elevated. The process of planning with The Orchard was easy and they helped guide me along every step of the way. The day of, I felt like the guest of honor and was so well taken care of. I truly cannot say enough good things about how smooth the day went all thanks to the wonderful people at The Orchard, the Celilo Catering team and Love Notes Wedding Planning! All in-house teams that create magical days in the most beautiful setting. I could go on and will be dreaming of that afternoon in The Orchard forever.”

“Our wedding at The Orchard was simply a dream! To begin with, the venue is absolutely beautiful. The view of the mountains and incredible landscape looks like it belongs in a movie. The staff were absolutely wonderful and accessible. They always responded quickly and were so helpful. The bridal room was also great. We only used it to hang out before the ceremony started (and to put on my dress) but it was big enough for all of my bridesmaids + mom to feel comfortable and it was beautifully decorated. So many of our family members and friends still comment about how beautiful this place was, and how they’ve never been to such an amazing venue. Additionally, Celilo’s catering was nothing short of amazing! Truly some of the best food we’ve ever had. I would pick The Orchard over and over again if it had the chance and would recommend it to anyone.”

“We booked this venue specifically for the view of mt hood during the ceremony and it rained and was hidden by clouds the entire time. Despite that, the rest of the venue was beautiful and required little decor. I was originally upset having to use their catering, mostly because of the price, but we have been told by guests it’s the best wedding food they have ever had. Our coordinator Heather handled so much behind the scenes and was so prepared for the rain/cold. I was able to relax and enjoy the day thank you to her and the rest of the staffs detailed attention. A wedding here will be an expensive one but well worth it! Wedding 5-16-26”
