Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in South Carolina.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“I had been following The Peach Stand on Instagram so when I saw it was strawberry week… I had to plan a trip to go! They have everything there. There is a butcher shop, bakery, restaurant and ice cream shop. They have housewares, woven market baskets, produce, coffee, bbq sauce(s) and so many jams, jellies, and syrups! I had to go around the store several times. I wish I had been hungry because some of the strawberry breakfast specials sounded amazing. I ended up bringing several strawberry items home with me as well as a beeswax wrap for my sourdough bread. I wish I lived closer!”

“Came here during the strawberry festival to grab a bite. Ended up getting the burger (mayo, ketchup, tomatoes, onions, & pickles) and my girlfriend got the BLT with chili fries. Very impressed with the burger! Bread is nice and toasted. A simple but well built burger was what I was looking for and that’s exactly what they delivered. This is a great spot if you’re looking to grab some groceries and want a quick bite to eat during the trip. Will definitely be coming back here again!”

“The best little country store ever! Not only is this a fresh pick fruit and vegetable stand, this beautiful SC staple also has an Ice Cream parlor, a food court with a meat deli and sides made fresh daily. They have a novelty shop with a wide variety of cute and country themed indoor and outdoor items. They also have Peachstand apparel that you can buy and wear to show your support and represent your love for the greatest little country store known as The Peach Stand!”

“Stopped in twice now and was impressed both times. I Stopped in for gas, grabbed some lunch that was very good, some fresh produce, sauces for cooking and local artisan goods. The second time we got breakfast bowls, a few pies for the holidays and some artisan cheeses. The staff is always very friendly and helpful and there are so many locally sourced unique gifts.”

“Enjoyed trying the peach stand for breakfast! Super crispy hash browns, and nice sausage egg and cheese biscuit. I think the sandwich was better than the plate as grits were super flavorful. We also enjoyed the Crumb Cake and Caramel Cookie.”
