Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Florida.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“I ordered the blueberries ahead of time. The price quoted was $15 per gallon. When I arrived, had the blueberries packed etc and it came to paying, I was told $30 per gallon. I paid 90 dollars per 3 gallons. The blueberries were not even of prime taste. I will not use this place anymore. You can find a lot less expensive places to buy the blueberries.”
