Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Michigan.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“The pumpkin train was great ! You could even spin if you wanted to. My grandson loved the corn box. He preferred it over a sandbox which he won't play in. The guy seen here on the pumpkin and bear ride was very nice. The lady on the spinning train ride was also very nice. It was a pleasant visit. The only negative thing I could say is I am sorry you were out of the prepacked choice of 6 apple and 6 pumpkin donuts in a pack. You could have easily solved that by mixing two packs together for me or at least have charged me the dozen price for two pop six packs. You would not!! I wanted pumpkin, hubby wanted apple. We both went without The level of customer service on not doing that still irritates and baffles me! It was 50 per ent of why I came. I didn't want two dozen donuts or to pay like I only bought 6 I didn't take away a star but honestly it was very disappointing.”

“This family is 1st class in everything they do and this farm is a BLAST for the whole family! Last year I proposed to my now wife in front of the hay bales out front and we can’t wait to bring children of our own someday to experience the HAYRIDE, Corn maze, food, bear ride, animals, train ride, hay bale maze, fire, and all the awesome activities at the farm! Great Christian family and you will not regret bringing your whole family here every weekend!!”

“My Mom and I come every year to Trabbic Pumpkin Patch. We always do the Hayride where you get a pumpkin, popcorn, apple cider and a freshly made donut during and afterwards. This year I tried and loved the apple cider slushy I highly recommend!!! Thank you again and we'll be back next year.”

“My family has been coming here since they opened 32 years ago, and they never disappoint! 3 generations are currently enjoying Trabbics, and we plan to continue indefinitely. It’s absolutely worth the trip!”

“They have beautiful Mums for a great price! Super fun for our 2 year old! Lots to do, would recommend bringing bug spray.”

“Perfect place for a family to spend anywhere between 30 minutes to 4 hours. With one child, I spent 3 hours and we did everything there was to do. We didn't take any breaks, other than to drink our cider and eat our donut (which is truly part of the experience). If you don't want to do certain activities, you don't have to. You can purchase tickets for the things you do want to do. Tickets cost $2 a piece and the activities take anywhere between 2-4 tickets per activity. Though it does seem kind of spendy, I'm sure the family puts a lot of money into it. I thought it was ideal that children could pet the farm animals for free. Thank you Trabbic family for sharing your farm!”

“They are CASH ONLY !! I spent more than I thought I should have but I guess these places don’t run themselves. Hayride was $12: each and included a donut cider and pie pumpkin. Rides were $5 each - kid loved it and tons of free photo opps !”

“We had a lovely day at Trabbic farm. The pumpkins were beautiful and bountiful! The donuts were still warm. But the prices? Not really worth it. A small, maybe 2 oz of cotton candy was $5.50. Pumpkins were too expensive for their size. And a giant pumpkin scarred to say, "pray to end abortion"? Too much for me. Expect to spend big bucks as all of the adventures are costly.”
