What visitors say

“It's just a small market, but has a large selection of fresh, local produce, and some very good local food being served. The prices are good for the size plate. The people here are very friendly, and kind. They have a small parking area, but it doesn't take long at all for a space with everyone coming and going, it all works out. There are other stores around it where you could park if needs be. I really liked the handcrafted jewellery stalls, they offer some very beautiful pieces at reasonable prices. If you're ever in the area, you should definitely give it a look.”

“I love the sour mangoes sold here with the Hawaiian hot honey. I visited one Saturday and tried it and had to go the next Saturday to buy two more packages. They are sold for $6 each. I also go to the vegetable stand that sells three bags of veggies for $5. You can mix and match which veggies you want. They also have vendors with all different kinds of food and drinks. I can't wait to try them all.”

“Saturdays 8am-12noon in the parking lot of Waianae mall. Hosted by the Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center. Lots of fresh produce, ready made food vendors, plants, and resources. Parking may be a little hard to find as it fills up quickly.”

“Small market with a decent assortment of fresh local produce and other vendors selling trinkets, jewelry and food. Start early as parking can be slim picking and dont forget a reusable bag to carry all your goodies home. Aloha!”

“Apple Maps took me to the wrong location. Google maps was correct. It is located behind the Starbucks in Waianae. Decent mix of produce, prepared food, fresh meat, etc. Would definitely recommend trying it out.”

“A must stop and see. There are great local vendors and plenty options to choose from. You can get plenty good grinds here. As well as some nice pieces of clothing and even jewelry.”

“Open Air Market located at the Waianae Mall. Local vendors with great produce, and products. Picked up some Poi, Kulolo, and Haupia. Reasonable prices $5-$6 for each item. (Sorry Poi pictured not included, because my family ate it.) Great vendor!! Stopped off to get my Paradise Kettle Popcorn fix. You can't go wrong here. 3 for $16. The third bag was gone by the time I got home. (Kids love it!) The only vendor that was missing was Angelo's Malasads. Hope to see them soon. All the other vendors are great too!! Come and see for yourself. Every Saturday (weather permitting and COVID restriction guidelines) Mask needs to be worn, and social distancing. Some vendors take Visa, Mastercard, and cash.”

“It was a nice quaint farmer's market and although I'm from stateside where there's a huge variety of fruits n vegetables and homemade goods along with flea market included. This was just a few vendors selling their wares but everything was very fresh. It was cute not a big vendor event on Saturday only, another difference between the stateside and here. I'd say it was okay for Hawaii in pricing compared to grocery stores. Parking was a little awkward in this little area.”
