Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Wisconsin.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Such a wonderful farm for all ages! You do have to pay to enter, but the cost is low and there are SO many activities included in the price. You could easily spend the entire day here with the family having fun. They have a nice variety of food trucks on the weekends so you are not limited to the typical brats and burgers you find at most farms. I would suggest bringing cash since some only accept cash though. There were some local craft vendors with unique and quality items. They had a nice mix of adorable animals that you can feed, you can either purchase a cup of food at the admission office or use the quarter machines near the animals. I will be honest, there is another pumpkin farm that we have been going to for years and love it, but I really wanted to see some highland cows and every place I searched was to purchase the meat (not what I had in mind). I found out that Waldvogel’s was going to have highland cows, so I had to visit. The admission price was worth it to me just for that reason. I was so impressed with the farm though, that even if they do not have the highlands each year, we will be adding this place to our yearly tradition.”

“The best pumpkin farm we’ve been to. It’s so nice that most of the attractions are included with cost of admission and you aren’t being charged additional to enjoy all the stuff inside. We took a 2.5 year old & 1 year old. Plenty for them both to do and for older kids to enjoy. We got there right when it opened and by the time we left it was sooo busy, but we had plenty of time to enjoy it all before it got too packed. I would definitely recommend getting there right away in the morning. The apple cider float and icecream in a pumpkin was delicious.”

“Great time here! I found it very easy to go online and purchase tickets along with the add-ons such as feeding the animals. We arrived on Sunday morning and we were able to find parking fast. I loved how everything was spread apart but it felt close enough to still walk to. My daughter enjoyed feeding the goats and the funny pig and the chickens but her favorite was the bubbles. I hope next year we can stay longer than an hour but my little one was cranky and needed a nap so we had to leave early. Thanks for a fun time Waldvogel .”

“Another year and anorher day full of wonderful memories. We really enjoyed the new activities that were added this year. As always it's such a great deal to get any size pumpkin for only $5 when taking the tractor ride out to the patch. We love ending our day there with a delicious Carmel apple sundae! It's been a family tradition for the last few years and we look forward to it every fall!”

“Lots of activities for toddlers. Face painting available, which is expensive in my opinion- it was $15/person. Yes, they did a very good job, but at 4 children, half our funds went to that. U-pick $5 any size pumpkins. Many food trucks available for different types of cuisines. Lots of parking in the fields, workers escort you were to park.”

“Great big corn maze to go through. Tons of activities for the kiddos. There's even a tractor train ride. Bubble station. Apple shooting target area. Lots of slides and playground. Small area for farm animals. A miniature golf area. 2 bounce platform for the kids. 1 full day and its not even enough.”

“BEST place ever! 🙌🏽 My family had the time of their life! The kids got to run free, my 4 year old did not want to leave after hours spent there. I loved the food trucks and the Carmel Apple bar! 🤤 We will DEFINITELY be back next year! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Awesome fall farm for family and kids. So much to do. I love how much is all included with the entry fee. Food trucks are busy at lunch though, so plan accordingly. They have great themes certain weekends. We like to go once a year with our kids.”
