Walters' Pumpkin Patch

“We come here every year not only to get our decoration pumpkins for our porch and the carving pumpkins for the kids but also to enjoy some of the activities and just walk out in the fields and enjoy the day with family. There seems to be new attractions every year, the place is much bigger and has far more things to do than when we first started coming here years ago. Lots of decor items in the gift shop and the take home food items have always been good. There's a good counter for feeding hungry kids while you're there too. You can definitely make a day out of it and get the most out of the entry charge if you want to.”

“Incredibly well designed pumpkin patch! Wonderful experience and perfect for our school field trip of 2nd and 3rd graders! Also was pretty stroller friendly for being a farm - I was impressed with all the bridges, ramps and different ways to access all the activities around the farm. Worth every penny! Very short drive North of Wichita. Can’t wait to bring the family back! Very impressed with their gift shop, bathrooms and other concession stands. So many creative play areas and playgrounds! Plus their pumpkins were fabulous and the agricultural educational talk given before the students picked pumpkins was well done!”

“Great time and tons of family fun! There is so much to do here! Everyone we encountered that worked at the park were super welcoming. We had a ton of treats while we were there and they were reasonably priced compared to others that price gouge you for everything. We had cookies, donuts, ice cream and root beer floats. It was an awesome time not only for our 3 kids ages 10, 8 and 3, but my husband and I enjoyed ourselves too. We are thinking of returning with family coming in from New York for Halloween, because we had the best time. Definitely a regular for our family now.”

“For the past handful of years, I have visited Walter's Pumpkin Patch for their Easter sunrise service and each year more people show up for this wonderful experience. Becky Walters (owner) along with Kurt Spivey and Matt Schaffner (spiritual leaders) and many volunteers, put on a wonderful service beginning at 6:30 AM which included a fabulous breakfast that was amazing! Many thanks to all those that made this event possible as I look forward to next year's service with eager anticipation!”

“Talk about spacious! So much room to roam and run! Even an adult area for beer and corn hole! The kids will find lots of fun activities and areas to learn about history, pumpkin trivia, and vegetable facts! I loved the learning we encountered in every area. 3 large play areas have playgrounds. Pro tip: bring extra cash for tokens so you can enjoy pumpkin chucking, mega slide and more!”

“Definitely top of the list ! A LOT of things to do and priced well (most are free with admission). Easy drive to get to. If you have a stroller with bigger wheels or a bigger stroller I’d recommend that over umbrella strollers as the terrain is rocky around the place.”

“Absolutely LOVE going here!!! Loads of fun for me and my little boy.... One of the only places that you leave being an adult in the parking lot, because only "kids" are permitted to enter and play 😁”
