“What an awesome place for fantastic strawberries! We've been going here pretty much every week during strawberry season for three years now, and highly recommend Westbury Farms as the best place in the Charleston/Summerville area. The new field they opened in Summerville is great, too, though significantly more crowded due to location convenience. If you're after delicious strawberries, head out and get some!”

“This is our go-to place for strawberry picking! We stop by here just about every week they're in season, and always have an easy time leaving with plenty of picture perfect berries. If you're not in the mood to pick for yourself, they always have pre-picked baskets ready to go, as well as having a stand set up in Summerville, at Berlin G and Marymeade.”

At check out I intended to dump all the strawberries I bought into a container I brought from home, and the staff at the register said (quite smugly), "We can't take the baskets back." The world has too much pollution from plastics as it is. We don't need our local farmers to be insisting on (or encouraging) single use, hard plastics to buy from them. There are so.many other.options.”
