Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Texas.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“This place was absolutely amazing! If you haven’t been there I really encourage you to follow their facebook page or sign up for their email/newsletter! Let me start by saying we met the owner and had a great conversation with her before we even knew she was the owner. She was such a sweet woman and full of information. The experience at the farm was one the whole family could enjoy. It really had something for everyone to do from picking sunflowers to train rides to a zip line for the kids and even an apple cannon! I mean there were so many activities we didn’t get to do everything but we will certainly be regulars every time they have something going on. Lastly I want to mention that the strawberry slushy with the donuts was the best slushy I ever had. That’s not me being biased either it was really that good because of the fresh strawberries they use. You’re going to absolutely love the donut and the pretzels. By the way I’m just sliding you know now you may buy multiple servings if you go with a group because you’re gonna want it all to yourself. It’s really that good! The area where the sunflowers were was such a beautiful place for photo apps if you have kids or a graduation or engagement, even a gender reveal, I mean, the place was phenomenal. You will not be disappointed at all!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such a wonderful time at Western Belle Farm today! My toddler had an absolute blast bouncing on the Pumpkin Jump Pillow, digging in the Corn Bin, riding the Cattle Drive Barrel Train, and going down all the slides. My husband and I had the best time with the apple and pumpkin cannons — such a unique and fun experience! Nana loved every bit of it too, especially all the adorable photo displays (we got so many great pictures!). We even met the sweetest farm cat, which totally made our day. The chilly drizzle just added to the cozy, nostalgic pumpkin patch vibe — it felt like the perfect fall day. Highly recommend for families looking for a wholesome and memorable autumn outing! 🍂🎃”

“I had the opportunity to visit western belle farm when my granddaughter had a school field trip and it was a great time. There was an abundance of things to do and learn from petting zoos to zip lines to tractor rides! All the kids had a blast and the teachers and parents did a well. The place was very clean and accommodating and the staff was very professional, courteous, and patient. I highly recommend visiting if you get the chance. I believe they are only open to public in the spring and fall, so be sure to call first.”

“The Western Belle Farm is really a place worth visiting. We went from Dallas during the pick time of the sunflower bloom. It was long drive. It was so much fun. There are so many fun activities for people of all ages. My husband enjoyed the cannon shooting. I went on Friday May 26. I was amazed by the beautiful appearance of the Sunflower. The owners were so friendly and welcoming. They put a great effort to make the farm amazing.”
