Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Minnesota.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“I have always loved berry picking since I was a kid, but found it difficult to find farms that did “pick yourself” once I moved out of the CA area. You need to get here early, like arrive as soon as they open early. The berries get picked out almost immediately. We learned that the hard way. I was about to be so disappointed but the staff was very friendly and helpful and found us a little patch that hadn’t been terribly picked through yet. We didn’t want or need many berries so what we found was more than enough. Wonderful experience for the family. Would recommend giving this farm business.”

“The staff is SUPER friendly. This is a family run farm for going on three generations. Chances are you'll see at least one of the family members out while you are picking. They have multiple fields and varieties so you can pick your own or grab some pre picked strawberries. Seasons usually last about 2wks so stop in as much as you can before the season ends!”

“Another wonderful trip back to SE MN for berry picking with the kiddos. The berries were perfect-form, juicy, and red ripe. The added bonus of always easy picking! Managed to get 150# picked in just over 5 hours! Thanks to everyone at the farm for maintaining and providing such a wonderful place to enjoy!”

“Love the farm and the family that runs it, they are so nice. The strawberries are delicious and supper easy to pick. Picked 10 pounds and I'm planning on eating most of it by myself. Can't wait for the raspberries and blackberries later in the season. Deffinatly will be back - 10stars!!!”

“There are sooooo many strawberries and its is definitely a reasonable price to pick your own. They also have an option to buy already picked. The people were super friendly and helpful.”

“Lots of fields so plenty of space to have your own little private outing. We'll organized, minimal gnats and mosquitos, and very tasty large berries”
