“My family (2 adults and 4 young kids) had the best experience picking apples and pears this weekend! The staff was warm, welcoming, and super helpful in guiding us and showing us what to do. They taught us what hail damage looks like, they let us sample different varieties, and they taught us how to properly pick the fruit. (I had picked apples before but not pears and I had no idea that you pick pears using a different technique!) We ended up with a LOT of fruit. Most had some slight hail damage, but it’s really just cosmetic blemishes. It’s all delicious…especially the honeycrisp apples! We had such a fun experience and will absolutely be back.”

“Great place for apple picking in Colorado!!! The extremely friendly and helpful staff begin by walking you through the orchard to test different flavors of apple. They then show you how to pick them and send you on your way along the rows of apples that are ready. Very neat! The family is very passionate and very knowledgeable and has been growing these trees for 10 years as of this posting. They also sell squash blossoms, pears, locally made jams and jellies, and a variety of other goods that help fund the farm. Overall, one of my favorite fall experiences anywhere along the Front Range (definitley better than Anderson Farms 😆).”

“This is a great little family orchard we enjoy coming to. The family is so nice and welcoming. They have lots of little farmers helping out and it’s fun to see them grow and get new helpers every year. The snowsweet apples were full of flavor and left a huge impression on my 7 year old who can’t stop talking about how good they were. Due to it being the end of the season the inventory was limited but they adjusted prices accordingly. They have much more than just apples such as pumpkins, gourds, eggs, elderberry syrup, beef, pumpkin decorating kits, etc. We look forward to going back next season.”

“What a gem of a place! Worth the drive from the Denver area. Great family run orchard for apple (and pumpkin!) picking that isn’t super crowded or require reservations that are impossible to get like other places. LOTS of apples to pick from. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, helpful and friendly and they really take care of the orchards. My daughter and I had a great time…can’t wait to come back later in the fall. 🍎🍏”

“The farm visit was fun and educational. I took my homeschoolers on a field trip to pick apples. I was super disappointed in the quality of the fruit. The apple trees had been hit with hail, so all of the apples had damage to some extent. You can still eat the fruit. We only picked about 5 pounds of apples because of the amount of damage to the fruit.”

“Wonderful family-run apple orchard that is spread over 7 acres, with 24 different apple varieties and some pear and peach trees. The farmer does a great job of sharing apple details and orchard information. It's a great place to discover new unique apple varieties, make family memories picking your own apples, and enjoy Weld County's agriculture!”

“We had a marvelous time here! We were greeted warmly with a wonderful lesson on proper apple picking and information about the orchard. So many varieties to choose from, and despite the challenges of this years weird weather the taste of the apples is out of this world. We will definitely be back next year!”

“Friendly farmer, yummy apples, easy to find location. Great place to pick, in a simple family environment.”
