Zink Berry Farm

“This was such a fun time! Was a nice quiet family farm. We were the only ones there, we saw the horses and the herd of goats. You knock on the door and the sweet old gentleman tells you the best spot to pick, shows you were the buckets are and you go on your berry p Kong way. If no one is home he says the buckets are in the first large pole barn as you enter the property. The costs are listed inside the barn. You can pay cash or Venmo/ PayPal. There are also a couple farms in the area who offer trail rides if you want to add that to your day.”

“Well we had a nice drive down after chatting with the gentleman who answered the phone and told us they had plenty of berries. We took our friends that wanted to pick blueberries for the first time. But when we arrived guess what?! All the bushes only had unripe berries on them! We checked up and down the rows completely and not one ripe berry. That was 2nd week in July. So while it's a nice drive it was mostly wasted since Mr. Zink didn't tell us there weren't any ripe berries. Beware even after calling them. ;(”

“The berry picking was great and blueberries were delicious, but when we walked back to our car their large livestock guardian chased my kids and was aggressively barking at them. Too bad that happened I don’t feel safe returning their!”
