Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in New Jersey.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“I must say, I came by this past Saturday all the way from Brooklyn, for their sunflower festival and it was well worth the one hour and 30 minute drive!!! The sunflowers are gorgeousssss! Every picture I took was simply stunning!!! It wasn’t crowded at all! The kids loveeee the bee zip line, feeding the pony, they loveeee the open space, the French fries and chicken tenders were amaaaazing!! The fresh lemonade was so delicious! The ice cream sandwich, wow! I can’t wait to go back just to have one again! It tasted sooooo fresh!!!! This farm is absolute heaven! I came with my best friend, my two kids and hers, and the kids had a great time! Literally can’t wait to come back in a few weeks for pumpkin picking 🎃 If you’re thinking about going to a farm, go to this one! I’ve been to 4 others in New Jersey and Long Island and this one takes the cake!!!! Thank you for upkeeping such an amazing farm ❤️🌻”

“We went to the Baby Animal Festival and had the best time. We did the early entry and got to interact with every animal. The staff was so kind and patient with the kids. My son has autism and the staff was so kind and patient with him. There was so much to do and I loved how everything was spaced out so it didnt seem crowded or overwhelming. Other farms make you pay extra for train rides and activities but Argos didnt which I cant tell you how thankful I was. The only extra cost was a pony ride. The farm was friendly, beautifully decorated for photo opportunities and had great food. I would highly recommend Argos Farm and look forward to going in the fall.”

“Went in the fall it was great! Everything you expect to see. Pig races, cart games, tons of corn, food, animals etc. The pony rides were extra as well as the compressed air tank that shot apples. Everything else I think is included in the entry price. They have a pig race throughout the day that's pretty funny and fun to watch. If you are nearby looking for fall activities for the kids check it out. Also they have food and drink like Lemonade and kettle corn.”

“We've found a new Halloween tradition! This place has so many activities, all of which are family friendly. The "Jacks and Lights" trail has something for everyone: Disney, classic monsters, pirates, and a bunch of stuff I won't spoil here. Ticket and food prices were more than fair, especially considering how much everything else is going up. We will absolutely return.”

“Had a great time with the family here. Lots of fun stuff for the kids! Stay until it gets dark so you can enjoy the haunted hayride all lit up! I had a problem while paying for the admission. Somehow my card got charged twice, but the staff immediately rectified the situation. I couldn't have been happier with this place. Also try the slushies!”

“The staff was very welcoming, and there was plenty of space for photos. The decorations were beautiful. Definitely worth visiting!”

“Went to the Jacks and Lights event at the farm. We had a wonderful time and purchased the flex tickets that were offered at a discount. The farm was beautiful with all of the Halloween decorations. We had a bite to eat at the cafe area. Prices were reasonable. The Jacks and Lights event was amazing with music played for the different installations. Definitely worth the flex ticket for this event. I do want to mention, we arrived at 6 pm when the event opened and we had used the porta potty and there was no toilet paper in any of them. Staff should make sure that there is toilet paper throughout the day, especially since the event opened at 6.”

“Lots of fun for kids during the fall festival. It cost us $105 for two adults three kids. Not everything is included in that price, so it’s a little expensive. But they have a lot to do and it’s very well maintained. We visit every year and every year there is a new addition to the fall fun. 😊 🎃”
