Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in New Jersey.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“This farm is great for picking blueberries. I recommend going between 7:30AM-10:30AM. We noticed that after 11AM it got hot and it was was harder to pick the blueberries. The people are very friendly, good quality blueberries and great prices($2/pound). When you arrive in the parking lot, you first select a bucket and then you wait for a tractor that drives you into the field which is convenient. We spent around an hour and a half here. After you are done picking your blueberries you go to the main building (the big one that looks like a house) and you pay there. They also sell local honey. Everything is cash only.”

“Great people! Very friendly and Great blueberries!! Tractor takes you out and comes by several times to check while we picked. It was very wet the first time from alot of rain.,so you rain boots came in handy (which they explained when I called to check if it was a picking day.) $1.75 Lb u pick..very nice!! I was here again, 2 yrs later..still same great people and blueberries! But no rain or mud so I updated photos!”

“We had such a pleasant experience! The staff were kind and helpful. They had so much to pick from. The place was well kept. They even had a bunch of recipes available to take home to make out of our freshly picked delicious blueberries. It was $2.25 per pound of blueberries. Highly recommended!!”

“I've been going here for years. Always a pleasure to see the FAMILY. They all are Great. KEEP the bushes trimmed, Berries are fantastic, they have several varieties, early, middle, and late blooming. As popular as it is with its regular customers, new people are all welcome to pick.”
